I think this will be useful if enough people actually vote.
Thanks Guys :D
BTW, there wasnt enough room on the poll to put in the core.

I own a 360 premium that I got 2 months after Launch and the thing still runs like a dream!
It's frozen once or twice on certain games, but other than that, it's great, and I usually sit down and play my 360 for hours at a time, so I think if it was going to red ring, it would already.
This won't work because not enough 360 users use gamespot forums or any gaming forums at all. I voted anyways. xPpyrobrand
I realise that, but if we keep it alive or long enough we will be able to get some idea of how many are going duff.

no...this wont work because people without 360's can vote
Are you implying that people without 360's might lie?
Ive had minesince christmas beforeit came out (uk) and mine still works but it sometimes makes loud wherrrrrring sounds
also if ive had mine for so long and it breaks do i get a new free one or not.
Funny thing about my RLoD experience... it wasn't the console at all.
The hard drive in it was fuxed. When it was tested at best buy, the thing booted up fine and played when the hard drive was removed. As soon as it was started up with it installed again, it crashed though. :(
You'd think with as many hard drive failures as I've experienced on my computers by now, I'd be used to it. But it's never easy.
Here is my vote
I Own a 360 Premium - And it has had problems with the disc drive
luckily i had a best buy replacement warranty
You should further expand on the options because there are people like me who own multiple 360's. I voted for the "I own an ELITE and it works fine" option. However, I've also had a few other premiums, which have all had the 3 Red Rings of Light except for the launch console. I also owned two cores and they have also had the 3 Red Rings of Light. I still have a core which works fine and a Premium as well. The most recent premium was purchased around Febuary and has had no problems and the core was just a bit before that and same thing. Once I did end up having a corrupt HDD as well.
No offense to the OP, but come on. Internet polls, especially internet forum polls, are not even remotely close to reliable or accurate. Everyone knows the intitial hardware design of the 360 had problems. Do we really need another thread about it? MS even publicly admitted it for crying out loud. That's why there have been two hardware revisions addressing this problem. The 'zephyr', which is used in the Elites and the new Premiums with HDMI, both of which are in stores now. Also the 'falcon', which uses the 65nm chips and will be in stores shortly. This is also why MS now offers a 3 year warranty and retroactive reimbursement for anyone that has paid for repairs in the past. So really, is a thread on this necessary? Especially one with a poll that's going to offer nothing usable or accurate.

Well i had one extra space for a question....and you want me top put an option in for some guy who has like 5 360's?? STFU!
I'm on Premium #4, despite superb care. Very poorly made hardware, with the semi-passive cpu/gpu cooling taking the cake.
Not on my first system, and the others did not get the red lights when they failed. Seeing as there is no option for that, this is not the ultimate test.limpbizkit818
