ok,
Joking aside thanks for sharing that with us. But I can assure you that while this situation is unlikely, it's not impossible.
If 1 in 3 Xbox's' RROD (Which is a recognised stat) then the situation you explained is about 1 in 200,000. Another way to look at it, is this:
You and your town of 11 people are benefitting from my (and others) unlucky run of three (or more) RRODeathed Xboxes'. It's nature's way of evening out.
RROD is commonly speaked of in these forums because X360 owners here tend to play off-line and/or LIVE for more then 4 or 5 hours a day, overheating the system and causing it to RROD.Maybe your friends people don't play that much (1 or 2 hours a day maybe?) making them "immune" to this overheating issue. Of course i believe your story, since 5 of my classmates have a X360s and never experienced a problem with them.

O yeah thats true the only ones that play hardcore are me my cousin and Alex so your probably right.
yep they fixed the issues.... the old systems had issues with their heat sinks... the cpu and gpu when overly played would heat up more then the heat sinks could handle and would casue the x clamps holding the heat sink to bend and in turn bend the moth board as well... and when that happens BAM.. RROD... this issue was only in 360s like 2006 and ealier... pretty muhc nay system from the last couple years should be good to go... i have a crap old one and my buddy has a new elite... mine after like 3 hours could cook an egg , his is still nice and cool
Okay guys the weird thing about RRoD is its so common on the forums and with its failure rate but in my town noone has had one. Just let me say and you dont have to believe me but here is my true story totally true. The people in my school that have a 360 names are: Nick D(my cousin), Nick S(friend), Mike, Derrek, Alex, Shaw, Steve, Logan, Nick S, Tony, and of course me. Out of all of us only one of us have had problems with our 360 and that was Derrek but he drinks alot and treats it like crap. He didnt get RRoD but his just doesent even turn on anymore. The rest of us have absolutely no problems at all with our 360's. I guess I never realized that RRoD is bad because neither these friends I know in real life or my friends I know online ever got it. It doesent seem common at all to me hopefully im not ginxing it right now but we never got RRoD.Hulkness
That's one 360 out of 10. Or almost 16 % (like the stats say).

Noone got RRoD his 360 just doesent even turn on anymore but like I said he treats it like crap. I didnt want to goto detail but he seems to throw stuff at his 360 for fun. I guess he gets really bad when he plays Rock Band. Hes spilt beer on it. Its crazy.
