I say it is not worth $150. That's a lot of money for a wheel just for racing games. If you play every racing game on the 360, then maybe it's worth it.

If you really like racing games the wheel is totally worth it, and if it's a good one it will make it so much easier as well.

Hmm, that's difficult to say. It is really great for racing games (i have PGR3 and test drive unlimited) but it is also really really expensive and i don't think it is worth the price. The wheel takes some getting used to but once you do it is absolutely great fun. I'm waiting for forza 2 and once that is out then yes, i think it will be worth it, still a tad too expensive though :P

If you don't want to pay$150, you can buy one from eBay for less than $100, brand new.

- agreed and considering what the wheel lacks in features (a STICK, few extra buttons & programming options)...it is abit over priced ! but it may be a joy to play with Forza 2 when it's released?

If you love racing games and love relearning how to race in racing games then buy the wheel. Once you figure out how to drift and not over steer with the racing wheel then its really fun.

Good question. I too would like to know this. I hated those ones where you'd turn 90 degrees and it would stop.

It is the best wheel for the xbox 360. But it depends on how much you want it. Racing games are always better with a wheel. But, it all depends on how much you like racers. I voted no, but if you could get it used or for about $85 dollers and bellow. Buy that and Forza and you will have a blast. In my opinion.

Sorry, should of put Doesn't but they have 3rd party controllers, but the Xbox 360 wireless racing wheel is the only wireless (to the console) one and the only one at this time that supports Full Force Feedback.

I would never buy it (mainly the $150) because i'm not big into racing games. However if you are and you really want the whell. Go to Amazon.com you can get the Wheel for $130 (or $120) and you get the exact same package is the Wheel in stores (comes along with PGR3).

Other than that i have no idea how good it is.

you must have the wheel if you like simulators (like forza or GT series).

i had a Logitech driving force pro (900 degrees) for GT4 with my ps2 - it was 100 times better than a joystick (for all results as well)

Otherwise, if you are playing arcade racing games (NFS, PGR, test drive, etc.) - good wheel isn't necessary. You will enjoy the game with a joystick.

I hate arcade racing. I'm crazy about driving simulators.

Why don't they make a GOOD wheel 900 degrees for 360?

I am going to buy it but the only reason I am going to is because it will give me the best experience to play Forza 2.  I always have a difficult time with racing games without an actual wheel.  The analog sticks harm my turning skills.

dont forget Colin McRae Dirt

the wheel is awesome, even with PGR3 it changes the whole game and you gotta "unlearn what you have learned" and the game becomes so much fun, just like the first time u popped it in.

I'm not a racing fan but as a collector I own Microsoft's Wireless Racing Wheel. It is well made, snaps onto the table I bought for it nicely, and is bigger than the less expensive wheels you may be used to. It's certainly feels like a big step up from the wheels on the original Xbox. Despite its wireless nature you should know it needs to be plugged in to get force feedback.

The biggest problem is game support. Many of the 360's racing games have not been patched to support it despite it being available for months.

I guess it could be worth it if the games you like support it, or with future racing games. Right now I'm not sure you'd be getting your money's worth.

I won the wheel in a contest and when i tried it with pgr3...it was crazy. i couldn't control the car at all, i would go fast in straight aways and then when the turns came i would crash against the walls with the slightest move, and i im good in pgr3...so i put it up for sale but no one would buy it and now with all the talk of forza 2 and how is made for the wheel unlike pgr3, i think i'll keep it and give it a second try

I love the wheel.  I would never go back to the other way.  The worst thing is in TDU you can't look right or left.

Oh, and if you have trouble in a game with it -- make sure you set the controller settings correctly.  If you don't it won't drive right.

i think it's worth it if you like racing games, feels really solid. however, unless you playa lot of racing games it may be a little overpriced.
