The Witcher 2 for X360 announced; to be out by the end of the year.

CDP conference is live on usstream(ustream.tv/channel/cdp-summer-days), so just to let you know: you'll have a chance to play one of the best RPGs of the last few years. It's 'almost' an exclusive as the PS3 version hasn't been announced. Now it's time to celebrate, I guess:P

cant wait, not got the PC version yet cause i was concerned about how well it would run on my PC rig which is frankly gettin pretty old, will be a lot cheaper to just pick up the 360 vesion when it arrives, instead of having to spend money upgrading my PC to get it to run the way i would like

well if you buy it for the combat your looking at for the wrong game really. From what i understand its classic fantasy rpg stuff which isn't necessarily the most popular genre.

People will defend any game, its the same way with the Halo or Uncharted series for example.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind buying it again to support CDP. The announcement trailer seems different somehow compared to the PC launch trailers. So I'd like to see what kind of changes they make to the 360 version.I enjoyed The Witcher for its story and atmosphere but the combat was a bore to play. They improved the combat in TW2 and it works well with a controller.

For those who would want to play the original one but don't have any half-decent gaming PC which could handle it: go to onlive.com, pay them 10 bucks and watch the Witcher being streamed onto your netbook. You can also play DeusEx 1 if you haven't done it yet, it's included in the price.

omg yes. i wanted to try it for my pc but i didnt want to play at lowest setting and lagg. excited now, way to many games this year.
