That's not the worst thing that could have happened...You could have spilled water into the box, been electichuted and died, and started and electrical fire that burned down your entire house reducing you to unidentifiable warped and charred bones. The fire could have then spread and destroyed your whole neighborhood before spreadint to the nearby woods. In a worst-case scenario, the fire spreads to an incoveniently placed nucler reactor and nukes your entire state.

that is an absolutley ridiculous statement. there are MANY known problems with the x360. i take VERY good care of mine and have had 3 already! its a quality control issue and a junky hitachi disc drive. so, some people, not mentioning any names, should get thier facts straight before belittling others.

No, the worst thing that could happen is get the three red lights the day after warranty expires. Come this December or later , people who bought it around the first/second month won't be covered anymore. I got the three red lights a week before it expired two summers ago. If it gets the lights this December or later and bought about two December's ago, you'll have to pay for it unless they make the warranty even longer but your Xbox seems like itcould get the three red lights again with all the storieseverywhere. I got a whole new console butkept hard drive when my original broke, I wonder if that's considered a wholeanother console and considered a new warranty right there?
yeah I got the 3 rings a few weeks ago. I keep doing the towel trick, I'll send it back when I get another 360, so I'll have two (one for brother, one for me)

ThisNovember would be 2 years since the 360 was released. It is a 3 year warranty.

WOW! i just had the same thing happen and was gonna make a thread and rant lol. i've had mine fofr a year and a half and now it decides to break a not even a week before halo 3 launch. i feel UR PAIN.
