I was playing my xbox yesterday with some friends and all of a sudden it freezes, I try to restart it and it struggles, when all of a sudden.....bam, three red lights. I called 18004myxbox and I can get it fixed for free, but it will take about a month. Normally I would not have a problem with that but Halo 3 is going to be here in less than 2 weeks. I hadn't even had that xbox for a year and it crapped out, anyone who has had this happen to you how was your experiance with the repairs?
Depends, really. I think the fastest i've seen an xbox return is about 9 or 10 days, and some have taken more than a month. Best to get it sent in ASAP if you're positive it's RRoD and not fixable by yourself.

same thing happened to me... and I also want to know.
Sometimes its just a minor hardware failure and you just have to plug the system out and plug it back in. But if thats not it its gonna take a long while to get your 360 back at the moment because they are really busy with other systems and trying to figure out the hardware problem.
