How long do you guys expect your 360 will live? I just feel like its one of the consoles that will breakdown in 4 yrs or less. I think believe my N64 will last longer than my 360.

With the new falcon 360's, the rate is certainly smaller.

I'm not sure. But I haven't had a one that's lasted even a year. I'm on my 4th 360 right now. It seems to be running fine 'cept it's really loud.

I've had mine for a little overa year and it hasn't broke I think it's random when they break except for some cases but in most it's probably the 360 itself

I know someone who claims his launch 360 stil works. It's probably true that some work or there would be a 100% failure rate already. Mine is lasting 1.5 years now, it's my second 360. As for the 360's lifespan as a supported product by Microsoft, I think it will last till 2009 or 2010.

my friend won one through that Mountain Dew promo around the launch of the 360. He got it before the release date and kept it, he didnt sell it like he should've, he would've made 100s of dollars. But either way, his is still going strong.

I have mine since 1 year after launch and it's still working, but lately when i play a hole day straigth it says the disc is unreadable and to clean it up, i assume the system is hot after 6 or 7 hours of use. But if it dies on me i might be considering getting a PS3 instead of the 360 just because of hardware reliability. The numbers of bad PS3's since launch is far less then broken 360's.

Sony is not that reliable either because i remember going though2 PS2 systems and 2 PS1 because they broke on me after a while, so all i ask for is if i'm gonna shell out $300.00 or $500.00 for a new system, it must last long, i can't afford to buy a system twice a year, so whoever the company can give me a system for a decent price and long lifespan got my greenbacks there ;)
