The Xbox 360 needs an epic game

So I have an Xbox 360 and a PS2. And something I have noticed, and I'm sure everyone has. Is that theres not many xbox 360, well, xbox for that matter. Not many games that have incredible single player, and incredible story's. I still play my Ps2 simply because of all of the Metal Gear games, and Im going out to buy the new God of War here soon. But I havnt played an xbox or an xbox 360 exclusive game, that after I beat the single player, I sat there in disbelieve due to how great it was. Gears of War is amazing. I play it online all the time. But the single player was "meh".  Anyone know of any information or opinions on some games coming out for the 360 that might have an amazing single player?

Think thats coming out on PS3 and PSP ,think he is talking about X360 exclusive and soon Blue Dragon will be released to the rest of the world so X360 will have a epic game in 2007

what about mass effect?

I know what the TC is thinking. I to wish we had epic games like Shadows of the colossus, a zelda or a final fantasy.

Think if 360 had more japanese support we would get them.

Fingers crossed Blue dragon or maybe eternal sonatra(sp?) will be epic. I know for a fact ninja gaiden 2 will be mind blowingly epic.

Anyway thats why ya gota buy all consoles.

I agree with Oblivion, aside from WoW that game sucked up a lot of time and I truly enjoyed it.

I have Oblivion, And yes the single player was amazing for an RPG. And I suppose it doesnt matter of the game is exclusive to the 360.

Ignore the PS2 for a second and ask yourself.

I agree with Oblivion, aside from WoW that game sucked up a lot of time and I truly enjoyed it.

Oblivon, obviously epic.  Dead Rising, though a little short, has an epic feel to it.

I hope Assassin's Creed will be the new epic game for the 360 in 2007, though it continues to be pushed back and obscured.

Oblivion definitely. Crackdown is pretty good. Lots to do in it, plus you can allow someone to join in the coop mode if you get bored.killeryoda85

"Assassins Creed" looks to be amazing, as well as "The Darkness".

I agree with you though. The 360 has more than 150 games. 90% of those games are down right terrible.

There's only a handful of descent games. Its really pathetic.

These developers suck!! They need to look at Konami and see how to make a great game.

I'd say Mass Effect, because it's going to be exclusive to Xbox360, and because it looks like it will be one of the greatest games...

I wouldn't say anywhere close to 90%. Like all genres of games, and have owned or rented about 50 games for the 360. And, with a couple of exclusions, ive like every single one of them. And even with that, i find it hard to believe that another 100 games are really truly that terrible. Now if you are talking just single player, the 90% thing might have some more merit...

As of games out right now, I say Oblivion and I actually really liked the story in Lost Planet.
