There seriously needs to be an X1 slim already.

There is no reason for it to be so enormous, when I had my X1 it was an eyesore to look at. I am hoping they make a slim version sooner than they did last gen.

By the way I like the Xbox One look, it has definitely grown on me. Yes it's big and bulky compared to my PS4 but to say it's an eyesore? I think it looks nice, it has a nice sleek look to it.

Yea its way too soon. When sales start to slow down maybe. Isnt the reason to make a "slim" model because manufacturing becomes cheaper and better tech allows them to make it smaller/cheaper? It seems too soon for that. I heard they made it that big for coolong. they wanted to avoid the rrod disaster by all costs.

Pretty much nailed it. It's simply too soon in the systems life for this kind of thing. Give it about two years, at least. I'm glad they made it so big off the bat, it keeps it from running into overheating issues. I don't mind it really, the OG Xbox was a hulking beast as well, and it was one of my favorite game systems.

Really, I think it just fine, no bigger than my dish DVR, in fact they looks really nice together.

yea it is pretty soon for a slim, but at least use harder plastic, the X1 scratches sooooooo easily. A soft diaper can scratch the damn thing.

I would expect three to four years down the line we would see a Xbox One Slim.

I have no problem with the size of the Xbox One.

Lol I don't know why people are complaining about the size so much. Put your Xbox 360 up next to it and you'll see they are virtually the same size the Xbox One's just more box like.

I didn't mind the original controller to be honest. Wasn't that bad I thought.

I could care less what the system itself looks like as long as it functions correctly and lets me play my games!

I'm mainly thankful for being quiet. I'm guessing the size is for the cooling: keeping it nice and quiet.

The only thing I did not like with the original Xbox pad was the black and white buttons, they were too out of the way at the top of the pad. In fairness I feel the Xbox 360 pad nailed it in terms of layout and weight/design etc. The Xbox One pad is pretty good as well although I feel the user interface buttons (i.e. the snap and menu buttons) could have been labelled as start and select and maybe have a separate button for snap.

In terms of the topic, it would be nice to see a slim line model but I honestly think its too soon given the machine has not even been out a year.

I inserted a VHS video into mine and it worked.

I am glad that Microsoft decided to make the controller smaller.

I hated how it did not really fit in my hands comfortably.

It was definitely a little too big, but it was a lot more comfortable than say the PS2/PS3 controller for me.

I always had a soft spot for the xbox controller i loved the triggers.
