Halo 4? Whats next, Halo Kart 64? I want to finish the fight for real this time around thank you. As great as the Halo trilogy has been it should end with Halo 3.

Yeah, end the story already. But it'd be nice to see some sort of online thing come out after instead of the whole story junk.
Halo is definately a big franchise, but I could see Bungie wanting to work on different projects than just Halo in the coming years. One day, i'm sure, there will be a Halo 4, whether it continues the current story or begins a whole new saga, but there's also a good chance that Bungie wants to explore some new IPs and if they have another hit it might be a while before that day comes.
Next Halo game wont have a "4" in the name and I'm not talking about Halo Wars. The next halo is going to be the project with Bungie and Peter Jackson, they even mention it in a podcast.
I personally am a fan of Halo but still I don't want that Bungie start sucking money from Halo brand making Halo 4. 3 similar FPS Halo games are enough. And even now there are much people who complain that Halo 3 is Halo 2 with better graphics. But just giving away good brand would be just stupid so I think they should make Halo world so they can make games based Halo world for example, KOTORs (and other Star Wars games) and games what happen in Middle-Earth. (Lord of the Ring series)

That's currently under production and is set for release some time next year.
Anyway, I don't think there should be a halo 4, because then it wouldn't be a trilogy and trilogy's always seem to be a fitting end to anyseries, whether it be games or movies :D
I think Halo 3 is pushing it as it is because the series is starting to show its age, so I can't see a Halo 4 in the future. Multiplayer wise, Call Of Duty 4 looks a thousand times better.
