Just 10 minutes ago, I was taking my game out of the case and apparently I didn't press the middle button (w/e u wanna call it) down enough and i was lifting the CD up and I bent it a little and now its got a crease starting from the middle ring out to the actual CD and now it won't work anymore. BTW, this is one of my favorite games, The Orange Box. Also, this isn't the only it's happened, it also happened with my Madden 08 game a few months ago. OK, so I know i should be much more careful and make sure i press the button all the way down, but WTF, why can't they make em like they use to. I shouldn't have to worry about my game disc breaking all the time because of the damn case and it's stupid unneccessary middle button. W/e, i suppose i'll just say it's my fault again (well it was mostly mine) but there's still no reason for the design of the disc holder to be like that.

So pissed.......so pissed. That's a great game, and im not gonna go out and buy another copy, I ain't rich.

The middle button isn't unnecessary its there to prevent the disk from moving around inside the case and getting scratched.

its a very small crack....it's barely inbedded into the main part of the CD, but enough for it to be unplayable. god damnit!

I've never heard of this happening so its something your doing wrong. Dont man handle the game taking it out fo the case acting like your Macho Man Randy Savage and this wont happen in the future kiddo.

No the way it's designed is unneccessary, id rather it be like the DVD cases where it barely needs to be pushed and it isn't holding it so tight. Maybe it's just me and being a little too careless, but still, I think it holds the disc way too tight.

This. And if you know your prone to breaking things why didnt you put it in a different case after you broke your other games? thats just stupidity on your part. I have never had this problem btw not once since ps2 started it

I find no trouble with these type of dvd game cases now, I mean when they first started using them on the ps2 it was a bit awkward at first, although you can avoid it and just use a big cd case that holds 200 cd's and just slide them out.

Some cases are better than others. Some release the disc easily while others seem to jam.

One alternative is to use a DVD wallet to hold all your games in, that way they can't get damaged taking them out

i dont know but sometimes if it really gets jammed, u have no choice but to over bend O.O

And im usually not in a rush to get it out, especially this time i was being pretty careful, but it got jammed.
