Things that annoy me about CoD4.

First im just saying that CoD is a great game but there are a few things that annoy me and these are most of them:

1.when you get someone down to last stand and someone else kills them and gets xp.

2. when you shoot someone with a sniper and nothing happens!

3.when you are the host of game and dont realise and then you quit for whatever reason and it ends the game, this is what annoys me the most because of all the trouble you get from people when it ends i have done this a few times and if i knew i was host i wouldnt of quit.

what's wrong with lmgs? everything else i can understand (especially the m16) but lmgs seem fine to me.

The fact that people can run while firing them, with no support at all like a bipod. That makes it over powered. If you tried that in real life with no bipod, you'd end up on the ground.Zach68486

that doesn't make it overpowered at all. they're supposed to be reasonably powerful weapons effective at most ranges and honestly, it's much less effective than a smg when firing from the hip.

and yes, you would probably end up on the ground/dislocate your arm/whatever if you fire blindly while running with a gun of that size. in a realistic game, i would be as pissed off as you are. however, in cod4, realism is not the first priority.

i really hate the grenade range. as i mean that u could be a good 10 feet from a martydom and u still die. u either die or u dont. i think thats pretty stupid. i swear i am far enough away..as in i dont see the icon and i still die. ianp_91

and that brings martyrdom into question as the most overpowered perk. for any non-observant player, grenades are the #1 cause of death. for a very good grenade chucker, grenades are the #1 source of kills. if you hear a grenade land, don't keep running. wait until it explodes and then thank yourself for not running straight into it.

well in real life u have to be a good 5 metres (15feet) away from a grenade if u dont want to die i think. And after all CoD4 is about realism isnt it?

i hate being shot in the back without having a fair chance of shooting back :( it seems like most kills are either from the back or so far away that you'd never have a chance of spotting the enemy..

sometimes i just feel like CoD4 is about throwing random grenades and shooting people in the back lol.. everybody can do that (;

yeah..i can see that realism.. but when the icon for the grenade isnt even there and i still die. i think its retarded..because u dont even know its there. i hate every time i spawn. and then walking (not running). and i see the grenade icon..back up away from it where i cant see it and then still die..

Yea a .50 cal can pretty much rip a car in half yet the human body seems to take 2 hits with it in the game..

all of these things you guys are complaining about is all part of combat in real life. The M16 IS that powerful in real life and in some instances you have to throw a random grenade to divert attention. It's all part of battle. Sometimes you die, sometimes you live. I agree, shooting someone with the .50 cal should be a kill, but it isn't, so try playing team hardcore deathmatch, its one-shot one-kill for the most part. You have to have true skill to play hardcore effectively.bigwilk2454

not really. u could play pretty cheaply in hardcore. i was playin a hardcore match for search and destroy and this clan that is like in the fourth prestige were using grenade launchers across the maps. on pipline. the attack team could just get their butts kick cuz right off the back. the defending team with the grenade launchers and shooting them up into the trees..its very hard to get passed

Just don't run down the middle on pipeline, if i see someone running down the middle I'll launch a grenade at them. I think in all the time I have played pipeline on S&D Hardcore I have been killed once due to a grenade launcher, just play smarter

Sniper Rifle. ---Why do I have to shoot someone 2 times to kill them with a sniper. Sole reason why I dont even use snipers.

Last Stand ---When I drop someone into last stand and someones gets the kill.

LMG noobs.

Grenade Noobs

Shotgun Noobs (especially on shipment).

Random Campers (I camp, however, but only if I am defending something such as the target (Sabotage), Flag (domination) etc.

Other guns such as M16 etc. dont trouble me since they are guns and if you are good with them, use them.

Host randomily end the game when his/her team gets a slight edge in modes like TDM, Domination etc. I just hate people who do that.

Sometimes it throws me into a game and I always end up on the team that is losing. Once I joined a sabotage match and I lost 5 seconds in.

I had such alot of problems with that on hardened. I shudder to think what it would be like on veteran.

You're probably playing under a host from a different country when this happens.

Yes, that with the sniper happened to me, so I don't use sniper guns anymore.

What annoys me most are the airstrikes, pretty stupid. Those gamers feel all proud about high kill scores, but in fact it was the computer that did the kills for them.

So if you are trying to achieve a high score on the ground, you have to be pretty slick about it. Don' t just run and shoot. Think about your moves, think ahead and plan carefully. Staying alive long gives you more points than killing dozens of soldiers. It's always pretty interesting to look at the numbers of those hight kill guys and see that they were killed more often than they killed somebody else, and their numbers without air strikes are pretty shabby :)

Not sure if you're all aware, but the new patch that's coming looks to solve a lot of problems of CoD4 - including the sniper issues.

Obviously you've never fired a .249 SAW... I'm a SAW gunner in the US Army and I've fired it in many different positions and can stabilize it. It may kick around a bit if you're not firing from the prone with bipod support and is hard to control if you're just throwing rounds down range, but if you fire in controlled bursts as you're supposed to, it's pretty managable even from a standing position. Like everyone else said, it's just a game, but firing an LMG from a standing position isn't impossible. You just have to pocket the weapon correctly and have a little meat on your bones.

1. random grenades(happens alot in the shooters i know)

2. Shooting a guy in the forehead with the dragunov and he doesnt die, only gets hurt.

3. Shooting a guy with a sniper and nothing happens as if the bullet just disappeared or swerved out of the way.

4. killing an enemy halfway and then a teammate runs up and knifes him or kills him

that's all.

M16 is part of the game a lot of other guns can beat it and when someone blind fires a grenade it s called press rb and throw it backlarsonslike7

You can throw a live grenade so that doesn't happen, mine explodes on landing if timed right

The only thing that annoys me is how useless picking up grenades and throwing them back online is.

I mean jeeze, just once I'd like it to work and not die horribly.

i guess the only thing that bugs me is the knife kill

ive seen people totally miss me with the knife and kill me

they knife the wall, they knife the air , they knife nothing and you die, awful

really blows

oh and when you are unloading a clip on someone's face they should not be able to still knife and kill you. seriously
