It just doesn't feel right. It really is left 4 dead 1.5. I don't like the characters as much as the first one. Probably just use the money to buy bayonetta.

Yeah it kind of looked that way to me so i just kept the first one, and I don't think I will play the second one for awhile. Who knows maybe it will drop in price.
Well, I guess you could say this about any game. If this game would've been released this year in November nobody would've complained. The game doesn't suffer from a lack of new features, it suffers from bad marketing. Releasing a sequel so soon practically made people believe that they were getting ripped off. First of all, this game is a true sequel in every way, new maps, new characters, new AI, new guns, new gameplay mechanics. How much more do you people want before you feel as if this is a brand new game? Every year Madden comes out with a brand new crappy game with limited to no new features and its instantly a great seller and Valve, yet again, makes an amazing game and everybody complains about it.
So what if they didn't release as much DLC for Left 4 Dead as they did for Team Fortress 2? So what if Valve felt as if there was just too much that they wanted to do with the game that they felt as if they should release a brand new game? People need to stop thinking that these developers live off of their fans opinion of them and not the money they make. They never ripped anybody off, but we can't expect them to release two years of constant content for free because we feel we are entitled to it.
I'm loving Left for Dead 2, even more than the first one.
Left for Dead 1 was so good, having a sequal released just one year later allowed me to already not have my expectations too high for sweeping dramatic changes. However, the improvements that were made elevate it enough to more than justify my purchase of it. Besides, I love smashing a zombies skull in with a crowbar...good stuff.:P
