Thinking of getting an Xbox...

Hi, I'm new. =D

So I'm thinking of getting an Xbox 360 now that I got a bunch of money for Xmas. I'm currently a proud owner of PS3 and before I decide to go ahead with getting an 360 I was hoping I could put all my inquiries here.

1) I really want to play Gears of War and Lost Odyssey but other than that I don't really know what I'd play since Halo 3 (don't know anything of the story) and Fable 2 don't really interest me. Is there anything else I should check out and is it worth getting the console for three games?

2) I planned to buy the Pro Holiday edition but now I heard something about disks getting scratched. Is this true and how do I avoid it does warranty cover this?

3) Is it really a good idea to buy it when I have a PS3 and so many games are on both systems?

The Xbox is cheaper but since you arent facing a choice on which system to buy, this isnt important.

I'd say there are great games on both systems and don't buy the xbox as an additional system.

It will just take more money like the live account annually and a play and charge kit.

Gears of war isnt nice but I wouldnt spend this amount of money on it just to play it.

Damn, you people are saying what my sister is; that I shouldn't get one. I really want one but at the same time I fear I might not use it enough. Ah well, I'm going to try and resist the urge for now. Thanks for the help anyways. =DtheSADmafioso

imrlybord7: Well I'm not much of an online gamer because unknown people freak me out a bit. Tho I do have two friends with online play and they of course think it would be great to play together but they really want to play Halo 3 and I'm not that interested in that game to be frank. >__<

2. buy fallout 3 (if your into rpg's this one is awesome or you already have it on ps3)

3. far cry 2 (you probably already got it on ps3)

4. dead space (ya know i dont think im helping much)
