thinking of getting call of duty 3

hey is this game good and are the graphics good

could you recomend me any other games like this that are good.

Yeah I love CoD3... because I have and own every single CoD game since the original was released on the PC back in 2003...

Rainbow Six: Vegas, Gears of War and Lost Planet to name a few, and Medal of Honor: Airborne, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, and Hour of Victory are all WWII games that will be released this year (HoV will be released around June I believe, and it looks amazing like CoD!)

I would say get CoD3 its a great game both online and offline. The graphics are great.

Also I would recommend Rainbow Six Vegas if you are thinking of another game of this sort. 

COD 2 was a lot better. COD 3 has great graphics and awesome sound, but the gameplay feels tired.

COD3 has allot of bad scripted events in my opinion. An example; you're buddies walk through a door with enemies behind it. Nothing happens. You go out the door and suddenly enemies start shooting.

That's one of many. Especially on Veteran you notice these annoying big flaws. You don't feel like you are a small part of a huge army. You feel like you're alone. Personally, I find it an unplayable game. Very mediocre experience.

games arent about achievements but about gameplay, they dont even do anything or get you anything

so.....some people like achievement points...go figure......they are there for a reason you know

I couldn't agree more, COD 3 just just didn't do anything for me.

it is short like all of the others but has the best graphics ever to be on a shooter.rav44

 Umm.. your kidding? lol everyone here should try Call of Duty 1 and Call of Duty 1: United Offensive... THATS REAL CoD not this arcade trash. Ever since cod2 with instant heal, and Run N gun/fragfest multiplayer the series has been ruined, its not different than medal of honor at this point.

COD3 is a very good game and looks  and plays just as well as COD2. 

In terms of achievement points, COD3 is waaaay easier than COD2 because you can unlock most of them on the easier levels.  COD2 required that you beat it on Veteran difficulty which was nearly impossible but I almost got all 1000 points from COD2.
