Hi, I have $60 and was wondering if there were any good third person shooters on the 360. The games I already have played are:
Lost Planet
Mass Effect
Stranglehold
Kane and Lynch
Graw

i want Mass Effect so bad right now thats my fav 3rd person right now, but i just havent got it yet.
other than that, GTA IV is my fav for 360. i wasnt a fan of Gears myself, but thats just me.
arent u forgeting something?.... oh yeah, GEARS OF WAR. btw its only $40:Dnate_c-12
Has anyone else besides me stopped and considered maybe he already owns Gears and that why he left it out instead of just telling him to get it and blatantly ignoring his provided options.
you'll probably like gears of war.
If you like ridiculous, mindless, fun as hell shooting, try Earth Defense Force 2017. Absolutely fun as hell, and cheap too. Check out the downloadable vid in the xbox live marketplace to see if you might like it. It's not for everyone, but those that like it, love it.

I thought so too, but then I re-read his post. Those are not the options he's providing us. He's already played those games, and he wants some more. It might be that he left out GeOW on purpose and he already has it. I mean c'mon, let alone TPS or shooters in general, GeOW is pretty much a MUST for everyone having a 360(except those who hate shooters of course)
gta 4 was way over hyped in my opinion think about it wut can u honestly spend money on in the game not to mention they took away a good chunk of stuff u cud do in san andreas shud not of been a 10 maybe a 9 and thats a big maybe bendeannot every game has to have everything that was in the last game in the seqeul. loads of games loose features and gain new ones. get over it coz no ones stopping u playing san andreas if u want to use them features still
GTA 4 would be a good one to get. There's also Splinter Cell Double Agent, but that's not a full out shooter.
Army of Two and Gears of War are decent, but I wasn't a big fan of either.
I'd go with Army of Two, especially if you have a friend to play with, though it is still fun by yourself. I personally found Gears of War to be overrated and didn't care for it that much. GTA IV might be a good pick, but I haven't tried it yet.jirca87
its alright to think gears is overrated, but you think army of two is better? whoa
Ok, to everyone who said Gears Of War I have been considering it for a while but I never really thought of buying it because everyone says that it's only fun online. So I still don't know if I should buy it or not.

no the campaign is really fun but its just short, but then again so is the campaign for army of two and dark sector. gears of war is the better game out of those three in my opinion, and its not even close. also, gears is alot of fun goin through the single player with a friend on split screen
