I put my gears of war disk into my xbox 360 today I checked it for dust and stuff beforehand. When I put it in it makes wierd noises and my xbox says "to play this cd pleae put it in a 360" or something along those lines then I take it out of the 360 to clean it and ther are 4 huge scratches in it coming out from the centre of the disk wich are a least half the disk deep. I put it back into my 360 and it didnt work so I tried again and it did, wtf just happened and what should I do about it please help. thnx

Your game disc is probably screwed up. Your probably moved the system while the game was playing. It happens just rent Gears and test if it works, if it does then just do the good ol' switcha roo, put ur game in the return case and keep the working copy.

This happened to me and everyone else I know who owns GOW. It got so bad that the game wouldn't play at all and I had to buy a new one.

That happned to me once, but i just ran it through my little disk doctor machine, and now it works like mint again.

You should get one. I bought one for $40, and its saved me hundreds, fixing damaged games.

Just to let you guys know, 360s can't be trusted. Once a 360 does a few things that it shouldn't be doing, thats when they become unreliable...

PS: I just found my new sig :D
