It seems like you have no control of your life, you should see Dr Phil or something.

I think if you want time to game, make time to game. It may not be quite as simple, but I think if really want to you can squeeze it in.

don't go to the gym, tell ur friends u don't like them anymore, tell ur girlfriend she ugly and u will be set to play video games :)

just one day tell ur friends / girlfriend that ur tired and u can. or invite them to ur place to play video games.

you should seriously be able to figure this out on your own. If not, well that's too bad.

Well im an old dude..gonna be 37 this year. My days start at 6:15am getting up and getting my 2 boys up for school. They get off for school at 6:50am. I leave for work at 7:20am...I work in construction and kill myself all day...winter,summer and every season in between.

I get home at 2:30pm as I only work part time these days....THen the kids get home at 2:45pm...We get homework going. I get house work going...I get supper started..Wife gets home around 5:20pm..and around 5:30pm we eat. At 6:00pm im working out. Workout 5 days a week. Then I have to find time to play with kids and "play" with wife. Mow yard, go to grocery store and make sure I visit my mom at least one day on the weekend.

Plus there is just more ever day things as well...But ...I find time to game...I always have. I game pretty much after 7pm when all the daily junk is finally done...

You just have to keep going untill every day things are done...Never just sit or things never get done to make you able to play games...Keep gaming!!

I'm 26, married and work around 70hrs a week. I still find time to play games and always will, but definitetly no "all nighters" like when I was a kid. Right now I probably average about 10hrs per month playing games.... There are some exceptions to this of course. For example when GTAIV was launched I used a weeks worth of vacation and put a solid 20hrs in.

I to go to school and have trouble getting some quality gaming time, I usually just do my homework (which takes up most of my time) as fast as I can/or not do it at all. That frees up a few hours for me.

yeah the way things are it is hard to play games but.... I ask you this...

if you have time to sit on the computer and think about a topic to start about how you don't have time to game.. when you could already be on Level 2 on Sonic the Hedgehog,,why don't you have time for at least a little gaming?????

Even though I'm not one of the "older kids," I want to know which college or university do you attend at the moment?

On-Topic: Thread Starter, I really don't know how your situation is at the moment, but if you really want to play games, then make some time :P ( I know it's not that simple).

Sorry to tell you but if you are not into the sciences then medical school is not going to happen. There is a little thing called the MCAT that you will have to do well on in order to even get considered and none of the sections on that test have to do with your major. Plus if you do not like those classes now you will hate medical school because the first 2 years is nothing but that stuff.

sounds like your life is pretty good, and I wouldn't do anything to risk it by making time for video games. Video games are fun, but face it, they are just time wasters. Play when you get some free time, don't blow off anything just to play video games, that is what losers who are 30 and live with their parents do.

Sorry but ur worng...I know about the MCAT and it would still be possible for me to take if i still want to become a doctor, trust me I know my stuff...I've wanted to be a doctor since i was 8 on my own decision, the idea was not forced by my parents, i also attended a magnet high school primarily geared towards science and the medical field where I learned about health professions and how to get into them so like i said, i know my stuff and also like i said both my high school counselor and my current academic advisor told me and i forgot to mention an actual surgeon that also told me a few years ago when i attended the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine when I took it upon myself to approach him after a seminar and ask him a series of questions...so thanx for ur two cents but i dont want it...i dont like chump change

well here's my day i wake up at 430 am and go to work till 2 pm. i come home play games for a half hour to an hour, then help my wife clean the house and take care of the 2 kids. i then go to a second job and work till 9 pm. i come home eat and play games till about 10 to 1030 then go to bed. granted i don't work the second job everyday, only when i'm scheduled. you just have to manage your time better and possibly make some sacrifices. in my case i sacrifice sleep.

If you really cant find time to have some lay back, play a game with your friends or whatever; thats just sad. Man up and figure something out, really easy to solve once you put your mind to it

yeah i hear ya. University, working two jobs, and then spending time with my girlfriend/friends takes a majority of my time, but time managment works wonders. Gaming will always come last on the list, but i always make sure to get some game time in.

You serious? Give it up or just play it every once in a while. I bought the xbox 360 at launch and got rid of it last year because other things are more important. These kids will understand what its like in the future.

Man, I feel sorry for you guys.

15 years old in tenth grade, just a week away from the end. I have my exams now which the IGCSE claims is important or something but oh well.

Honestly, you should just balance your priorities. I for one avoid most of the people in my class as they just annoy me, so social life is gone. I rarely get homework nowadays and I only actually study close to the exam(2-3 days before)

After my exams end.....well!

Even though I don't call myself a kid anymore I'll answer this question. You should always make time for your hobbies. I work 60 plus hours a week most of the time inorder to keep some money in my wallet, but I always put aside some time here & there to play. Good Gaming!!!

OK anything that say for older people young ones keep out ima look at it lol.

Im 14. I cant play xbox during the week or any other console. My freinds always call me on the weekends i have school. Yes i have no job so obviously you have more. Im a looser with no gf, and family always wants to hang with me.

SO this is what i would do. YOu cant control school or work. But for freinds dont hang with them as much its ok to say no unless they are P***ys and are gonna cry. Girlfreind. Unless she lives with you, you dont need to spend every hour out of work and school with her. Gym do what i do, Get weights in your garage or wherever and just go every other day for an hour and lift. Family, your 20 you dont have to do everything with them they shoudl understand. Weights again: and unless you lift for the ladies you are out of Highschool you wont have to worry bout fights.

Good luck

It's actually really easy. Sounds like a pu$$y move, but get a planner. I have time to do everything I want/need to do in the day and then some.

It really works

I'm 19, 20 in September. I work most days 12-9, hang out with my friends / girlfriend after work or on my days off. And I usually play games during my days off, or before I head off to work.

Oh and plus I still live with my parents since my school year is done. Time isn't hard to manage, it's more money for me. I rake it 700 ish every pay cheque but have bills and all that fun stuff. Plus hanging out with friends usually drops my cash flow. Once I move out at the end of the summer I'll have better control over money, paying for a car and rent won't be easy.

Not really, Im 27 now. I used to race motocross, party, bang random chicks, have friends...... Now all my friends are married with kids, I dont like to drink and drive so I stay home when I do that. I have had the same girl friend for 5 years. So now, I have lots of time to play games. I work 7am to 3 or 4pm and have every weekend off. I play more games now than ever before. I have no kids and it will stay that way. I think I just need some new friends.............................

Avoiding reproducing is definitely a good idea. :-) Me and the missuz decided a long time ago that we didn't want kids, and have never regretted it. Every couple of weeks, when we're hanging out, doing things we like (like playing video games), we look at each other and say "If we had kids, we probably couldn't be goofing off like this!"

I grad very very soon and things around now are beginning to get hectic and yes i do see myself getting pulled further from gaming and i know this is only a start of things to come but at the same time i do squeeze in time after all that and on weekends(Dont have a job...traveling for a year). When im traveling though i wont have anytime at all so i might as well enjoy it now

I know a lot of us older kids 18+ (im 20) are broke and its understandable BUT how the **** do you balance TIME?

i got work, school, gym, friends, a girlfriend, and my family and not to mention other important stuff i have to do.

i just cant fit in gaming and i love gaming.

anyone else have this problem?

evil_clown63

Yes...I have the same problem.

How do I balance time though? I don't know. Just try harder. I have kids and work as a Chef, so I have very little time for gaming, but somehow manage to fit in in here and there.

I just have next to no time compared to how much I used to play years ago.

I have College, College coursework, Friends have Xbox Live, and I refuse to get a girlfriend for fear of being changed....I like being a reckless idiot, and I don't spend that much time with my family

I struggle with the same stuff. I'm a teacher, a coach, a husband, and a soon to be father. Additionally I have my master's classes going on. I basically end up gaming for about an hour before bed each night.
