I bought for full price when it first came out. Last time I played (3 weeks ago) there was still a good amount of people on but I would say its thriving. Then again, I had all 3 map packs downloaded.
Quick question, how much did u get it for (if you bought it around now or few months earlier) and is the xbox live community still thriving for cod 2?Elementguy13
I bought it in December 2005Â for $60 and sold it in February after I beat Campaign mode on veteran, cause online was terrible back in those days.
I don't remember how much I got it for but I did get it during last summer for 40-50$ and it came with a bonus CD that had free maps from the extra content.

well I made a mistake by beating the game on hard instead of just going straight to Veteran, right now im chuggin along in veteran its not as hard as some people make it out to be but if you have never played a call of duty game it will be a challenge
Its not too hard this is the first COD game I played and started on Vet cause I like achievements. You just have to figure out where the germans pop out and shoot, also use smoke like crazy. The hardest is the trenches at pointe du hoc and the sniper part where you run around the perimeter of hill 300 or something and have to snipe artillery while nazi infantry storm your base.

oh lord yes, theres alot of players, its GREAT. and i got it at launch for $60
