well, if your a fan im sure you alredy know that there is some new threat to the galaxy, and shepard needs to assemble a team of the best of the best, including bounty hunters and like war criminals and stuff, and then they have to go on a suicide mission with a very slim chance of survival. but what i heard that some others might not know, is that depending on the choices you make, in this suicide mission, shepard can actually die, like as part of the story...
I don't know if you've played the Bringing Down the Sky dlc, but it seems to indicate that batarians will play a bigger role in the next game.UT_Wrestlero yeah, i forgot about that. do you think that they could be this new threat?
I would be the happiest gamer ever if somehow you could wind up with HK47 as a member of your party. Time warp, wormhole, or just finding a crashed ship where you can reactivate him, it would be sweet as hell.
I wanna land on Earth. I was so annoyed when i found out i couldn't. I wanna be able to do human things likego to a bar.
I havent tried any of the DLC yet. I think im going to try it out. I also think its cool how choices you made in the first game will carry on to the second game, along with your character. Does anyone know of the group Shepard has joined? I think its called Cerberus or something like that.Coliholio1Cerberus is better explained in the Mass Effect novels. Basically, they're a very secretive human group that seeks to undermine humanity's effort at peaceful relations with other races and instead wants humans to rule over all other species. Based on Shepard's alliances with other species, they'd probably see him/her as a threat.
i think most of you know that in one of the interviews, it is said that shepard can actually die for real in me2, so when you start me3, you will still play as shepard, "but not your shepard". you remember the geth wearing shepard's trademark armor, that will probably be the shepard in me3 if your shepard dies in me2. i'm just guessing, that's all. i cant wait for this game. me1 is the best game i've ever played, and i'm sure me2 will be better than me1 in every single way.
I really don't get where people think that geth was wearing the armor instead of standing over it.
Anyway, I think it more likely if you die and buy ME3, you start with a Generi-Shepherd. A character with the default assumptions from previous games. Kind of like how if you start ME2 without a ME1 save, it'll probably assume Humanity's on the Council and the Council was saved, or something.
I agree, it would be interesting to see how they portray Earth in the game.I wanna land on Earth. I was so annoyed when i found out i couldn't. I wanna be able to do human things likego to a bar.

it is wearing shepard's trademark armor. if you need proof, go out and get the oxm issue with the mass effect 2 preview, there's a picture of it in that armor. i don't think bioware will just let you continue the story with a generic shepard if your shepard is killed in me2, it will ruin the progression of the story, i think bioware knows what's best. like i said in my comments above, i'm guessing that the geth in armor is shepard, but "just not your shepard". anyway, i'm waiting for me2 to come out, seriously can't wait for the game. btw, anybody thinks bioware will include gay sex scene? not that i want it, but that will certainly stir some controversy, and the best part is that it will probably make fox news go rabid and make a fool out of themselves.
i really hope they do do this so the game has everything in it and it might set a precident for other games and we might soon live in a world of uncut games:shock:, back to mass effect2 i think u will mainly be fighting cerburus to start with and maybe it finishes with the reapers finding another way inI could have sworn on the interview the guy said that they were now not restricted to one dvd and it would be on 2 dvds??? is that correct?

But why would they make you play a geth? geth are bad. unless the good dudes ally themselves with the geth and make a geth/shepard... its all a big mystery right now, which makes me even more excited for the game. and about the gay thing. that would honestly be hilarious they'd probably ban it from the whole world lol.it is wearing shepard's trademark armor. if you need proof, go out and get the oxm issue with the mass effect 2 preview, there's a picture of it in that armor. i don't think bioware will just let you continue the story with a generic shepard if your shepard is killed in me2, it will ruin the progression of the story, i think bioware knows what's best. like i said in my comments above, i'm guessing that the geth in armor is shepard, but "just not your shepard". anyway, i'm waiting for me2 to come out, seriously can't wait for the game. btw, anybody thinks bioware will include gay sex scene? not that i want it, but that will certainly stir some controversy, and the best part is that it will probably make fox news go rabid and make a fool out of themselves.

yeah, definitely, the ballad of gay tony really stirred controversy, and that's just a name, if me2 actually lets your character be gay that will be massive controversy, i hope bioware suprises me with some good stuff. anyway, i'll guess here, everyone thought shepard's dead in me2, but in me3 turns out he somehow survived, then he did his usual stuff, then towards the ending of me3, suddenly he transforms into a geth, like how saren suddenly transform into a reaper. or, maybe because you have become a geth, but with shepard's memory, every friend and ally you have don't trust you, so maybe you have to work your way to regain their trust. can't wait for the game, i would like to know the continuation of me1's story.
yeah im so confused about that trailer. maybe it didnt even have to do anything with the story.... i honestly dont know what to think right nowyeah, definitely, the ballad of gay tony really stirred controversy, and that's just a name, if me2 actually lets your character be gay that will be massive controversy, i hope bioware suprises me with some good stuff. anyway, i'll guess here, everyone thought shepard's dead in me2, but in me3 turns out he somehow survived, then he did his usual stuff, then towards the ending of me3, suddenly he transforms into a geth, like how saren suddenly transform into a reaper. or, maybe because you have become a geth, but with shepard's memory, every friend and ally you have don't trust you, so maybe you have to work your way to regain their trust. can't wait for the game, i would like to know the continuation of me1's story.

As I've said, Cerberus is a malevolent group who seeks to undermine humanity's diplomatic relations with other races. Now whether your Shepard is a paragon or a renegade, his/her alliances with members of other races puts Shepard in direct conflict with Cerberus. If Shepard was to "join" Cerberus, it would most likely be as a double agent rather than a legitimate member of their organization.[QUOTE="DTStone"]

Nah, I don't think they'll include a gay scene, but I'm almost positive that there will be a foursome in there though.

On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced." so this does not mean he works as a double agent. I'm not saying your wrong, you probably know a lot more than me at this point. I just wanted to show you what i've seen and read.[QUOTE="Syaz1"]

foursome...awesome, maybe with liara, ashley and that new chick in one of those e3 gameplay videos, her name is marissa or something. well, like i said before, the gay sex scene if available in the game it will cause some controversy, which will create publicity and hype for the game. if it works with the ballad of gay tony, i think it will work with this one. of course, i'm quite sure majority of gamers wont even want their shepard to be gay i hope you guys don't think i'm gay.
