um...hm....lets see...oh yeah, IT DOESN'T MATTER. That was 6 years ago, get over it already. It's not like a plane hijack simulator is coming out next week
Why not? It has no direct relation to anything. I must say, that is one of the most rediculous threads ever made, to put it VERY lightly.TheGTAvaccine
i have to agree, not trying to disrespect victims or anything but they have nothing to do with eachother, might aswell ask to stop all plane flights on 9/11, dumb idea
As a country we need to just move on. It's 6 years later. Those in high authority should stop reminding us of that horrible day to strike fear in our hearts also.
It's fine to release stuff on 9/11.
the TC was just trying to start a discussion, give him a break, but i do think games can be released on 9/11, the hard truth is we need to leave it behind in the pass and move on man.PandaSlayer
but to never forget...
all of you guys are such geaks.troublechorney
and you're talking in a game forum... "where geeks unite"
we shouldn't release games on 9/11. we also shouldn't releases games on December 7th. We shouldn't release any violent games throughout the entire month of september. we can't release violent games between December 1st and the 7th actually. This goes for rated T games as well. They should also release games mostly throughout the month of febuary because i'm a pisces....and that would be cool! we should also be aware that 9/11 is the biggest conspirousy theory of all time. Nobody knows what actually happened that day. A lot more people were evidently behind those murders. But we'll show em!!!...because we're NOT releasing video games on 9/11!!! TAKE THAT!!!!

I WANT TO SEE WHAT NERDS DO ALL DAY.
Hmm... and you think we don't have lives...

it wasnt even the muslims who orchestrated those attacks

keep believing your dillusions... I know and AL Queda is peaceful...
Why should it matter? If you believe something like a game should bestopped from being released on September 11th, or any other national tragedy day, then you should really look at how you view everything.
Why even start this discussion? It's ridiculous.
it was a really sad day that hurt america but the rest of the world in many ways. but tuesday (this tues just happens to be 9/11) is the day games usually come out. also we have 50 cent vs Kayne West on bet and there albums release that day. 50 said he would retire if kayne's sold more then his in the first week. and i think it will and 50 cent will retire just like jay z rofl.
it is a sad day and it happened in the past and we need to honor it but move on and improve so things like it dont happen again.
This is actually a bad idea for the game publishers and games develepors for releasing a game on 9/11. Its even worse that the fact that the games that are coming out that day have had so much hype and commercialism, take these for example: Skate, Jam Sessions, Dirt [PS3], and NHL 08 just to name a few so. So Americans are gonna be busy all that day with memorial services, tv specials, tourist visiting Ground Zero, etc. to even think about buying a video game. This is gonna hurt the game publishers alot especially EA who is releasing the most games that day.

true true. Can't blame a religon. can't even trust the independent news anymore really. they aren't much different than the talking heads on cnn. anyone can say anything...and anyone can post anything. which is why we shouldn't release videos on any day of the year anymore. i've made up my mind. i'm flushin my DS and Burning the 360. Gods will.
Lets calm down guys. There's no reason to make racist comments. No one knows what happened on 9/11. There are many american citizens who aren't even so sure of our government. It doesn't make you unamerican or anything. It's okay to question those who have lied so many times before by using "scare tactics".BioShockOwnz
SO you actually you think its a possibility it was a scare tactic? Set up by whom?

I'm just curious why the OP doesn't think it should happen, because he/she did not elaborate at all "I don't think it should happen," and that makes about as much sence as to why games shouldn't be allowed on 09/11 as to the actual post topic.
I'm assuming the OP would also dissaprove releasing Resident Evil 5 on Martin Luther King Jr. day, Medal of Honor on the anniversary of D-Day, etc etc. I hate this thread.
