IMO I think that this is gonna get boring pretty quickly. Playing the same band over and over might be kinda boring. Don't get me wrong, I love Aerosmith, but I think this is gonna get old really quick. Like Halo 3. You get it and your psyched but after you play it a little, you get really bored. So what do you guys think?

Yeah Metallica would kick A$$. They would be so much fun to play.
I mean, their taking the same engine, same everything and trying to make it new. Why not just release an expansion, we all saw how well that worked for oblivion. Activision could do the same thing and it could really work for them.
This is the worst idea since mary kate and ashley olsen games. Maybe if it were the '70s and we knew no such thing as Metallica... but even then, Zeppelin would be a much better choice.... as stated by a poster above me.
I think they are starting to milk it (Guitar Hero) for all its worth, now. I think it would make much more sense to, instead of increasing costs by making a completely new game, make individual or groups of songs and send them out as downloadable content for maybe 1 to 2 dollars.

Well i'm not a huge Aerosmith fan but i do like quite a few of their song but i can't see myself buying it or a whole lot of other people buying it. I know there are big aerosmith fans that might get pissed but they've been around for like 30 some odd years and they're not even that big of a band compared to alot of bands that have been around as long. If GH is "walking this way" again i think they should go bigger/ more popular like The Beatles or AC/DC.
i think if they are going to do anything like this it should be genre specific. make a metal guitar hero, country guitar hero, 70's rock, 60's rock, emo rock, punk rock, etc. that would be better than having 1 band and some bands that they toured with.
um i dont think any of u really understand the game. only 60 percent of the songs are aerosmith songs. the other 40 are bands influenced by them or somehow related to them. maybe u should read the previews before bashing it

They did make that game. It's called Rock Band.
Anyway, I dunno... I'll keep an open mind about GH Aerosmith, even though I really didn't like GH3. Maybe they'll fix where they went wrong there, and stick to early Aerosmith instead of the wimp-rock they've been making since they quit the dope. And the inclusion of Mott The Hoople, Cheap Trick, etc is a step in the right direction. I'm hoping it's like a dozen Aerosmith songs and then around the same or more songs by other 70s classic rock bands.
Led Zeppelin, sadly, just ain't happening. It's not easy to get your fingers on their catalog for some reason.

thats what i think they should do what the point in a whole new game just different songs
i mean i love aerosmith and all but i mean it wouldnt be fun to play the same type of music for a whole game...i mean i got the boston pack for rockband and after like three songs i got bored of playing boston cause it was all the same band...so like 50 songs by aerosmith is a bit much...ill prolly rent it

I'm excited. I like Aerosmith. Plus, they aren't the only band that will be featured. The game is also going to include some of their influences, so there should be at least something to break the monotony.
