Thoughts on halo 4 vs call of duy future warfare?

Reach came out like 2 months ago. I don't think there will be another halo for a couple years. Call of Duty on the other hand, probably see another one in 2011...

If Halo 4 comes out, it probably won't come out until at least late 2013, and well, I don't know about Future Warfare, it could be next year, but there is still Modern Warfare 3 to come out.Ashley_wwe

I don't think there could be another Halo. I love Halo, it's one of my favorite game series, but there just isn't that much left for them to work with. I mean, of course they could bring the Master Chief back, and figure out what happens after Halo 3, but what would they do with the story? Make Master Chief reconstruct Earth and rename the game Halo meets Sim City? Ummm, no. And for Call of Duty, I think a futuristic turn would be a great addition to the series, but I just don't know how well they could pull it off. I can imagine them making a "Modern Warfare" type game, with 1 or 2 levels that have a semi-futuristic twist to them. And, Call of Duty 8 is being developed by Sledgehammer games, a company that has never made a Call of Duty game before.

Both series could use another game, but for Halo, there just isn't enough, and Call of Duty, just stick to pwning everyone with a good 'ole M16.

Yes yes yes I KNOW! neither games are officially released but we all know that something like that or very similar is BOUND to happen in 2011, and considering both games are being made by new companies! it really is going to be very interesting to see the outcome of both games. As much as I'm looking forward to Halo 4, I'm greatly doubting it becoming successful, much like halo wars ( which was a pretty decent game ) as for call of duty FW I dont have any doubts on it becoming successful as it has been made by multiple different countries in the past, and still proven to be a very good game! there both gunna be sci fi guys which is gunna be sweet, but what do you guys think? I will prob pick them both up, but how about you?Dark_Kaden

starting already... i can't see any halo game till 2013, 2012 maybe. it most likely be last real halo game on 360 if microsoft follows the 3 year span for halo/10 year for xbox

new cod be most likely next year and will be nothing new once again besides satellite wars

link with microsoft quoting that would be nice. I really wanna see that because microsoft has job openings for game designers and it sure don't take 6 years to create any game. Second everyone knows bungie isn't making halo games

I hope CoD doesn't go into the future. I like CoD right where it is, either in the present or past. Somebody once mockingly suggested "Call of Duty: Space Combat" and that makes me cringe. There are plenty of areas in military history where CoD could venture.
