Well i tried pickpocketing once after i read this message, and it worked. well the second time i couldnt get it to work, and still cant. well i havent tried killing them, but i wanna pickpocket them and get more. And btw how many knives can you hold?
The easiest way to pickpocket is to leave the a-button pressed down as you approach the thug. When you are the proper distance away, he will grab the knives. It took some practice, but now I can do it without even thinking.

You have to be close... your hand has to be almost on his back bag things. Once you get them your arm will come back to your side and a message will come up saying you have reached the limit on your throwing knives (or something around that).
