It got great reviews from all major gaming web sites, it sold a lot of copies (it is a platinum hit), and my personal opinion is that it is a very good and well made game. I know you want to try to make Infinity Ward sound like the best but I think Treyarch is perfectly capable of creating a great game and build upon COD4 no matter wich setting the game adopts. I remind you that the perk system that makes COD4 so "great and original" was introduced by COD3. So stop being Infinity Ward fanboys and accept that Activision knows what they are doing by naming Treyarch as the developers of the next COD game ...
First, reviewers tend to overrate games that are highly anticipated. Second, Treyarch has a history of bad games. Not just COD3. Third, It's all opinion if a game is good in someone's eyes!
BTW I don't get your thinking at the end of your post. If they knew what they were doing, wouldn't they go with the developer who won them many GOTY awards, got amazing reviews when the other just got great reviews, and which sold over 10 million copies?
I dont reccomend u to play it now it is way dated I cant even look at the graphics now. But you should have played 2 years ago or whenever it was released.
cod3 i oly playd truely on the ps3. It was fun i enjoyed the online. the problem was that you leveled up during a match but it never mattered and you never kept it.

I don't think it will get overshadowed by 4 because one is modern the other is WW2 it will get overshadowed by the fact that most of us have played it before many many times so unless it does something no other WW2 game has done before it probably won't be seen as amazing.

I agree i picked up COD2 and i can see the improvements of four but it's still fun.

yeah me too, and c'mon they had less than a year to develop it and this new one they have had over two years, so i think they know what there doing, and the new trailer looks pretty sweet, but we'll see this holiday season guys, thats when were done playing Left 4 Dead! lol jk! no im not but we all have different opinions and i respect them all, so keep on gaming gamers! god bless peace!
