[QUOTE="blue_tape"]Maybe people be playing... in the future!Alpha172Nope, in the future it will be COD4, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and way better games in 08' and that's how the gaming industry works. lol man alpha u completely missed that. He's saying the game is future based so ppl now wont b playing till the future as a joke, but im not playin itcuz I just got Halo 3 and have no money for it.....well i have the money but im into Halo 3 more than anything else right now.
because mass effect, COD4, assassin's creed, GH3 and the Orange Box are all more appealing purchases then a subpar shooter.APOLLOCJD
That would be true if you couldn't stop time, but stopping time and then killing 5 people with a shotty and watching them go flying when time starts again is fun as hell!
This game is an absolute blast. I've already played it more than Halo 3. Then again, Halo 3 didn't stay in my disc tray for very long at all.;)BioShockOwnz
Both of the campaigns in TimeShift and H3 are amazing but i like H3's MP a little more but that's probably because i am used to it more than TimeShift's.
I just bought and beat timeshift and it was GREAT, its not the best fps out there (and the multiplayer is really weird, but i'll probably like it once i get used to how different it its)but it's still really fun but it seems like nobody is playing it. I went to the TimeShift forum on its website and it was just dead, i don't hear any talk about it on this forum either so I'm just wondering, is anybody playing TimeShift?TrojanLB48
Because, like you said, it's not the best FPS out there. People want to spend money on games that blow their minds and keep them going for months/years. Not something that will keep them entertained for a few days/weeks.
This game looked amazing a few years ago at E3 but now it just doesn't look like it has lived up to expectations, just like Jericho and Two Worlds.SykohLOL dont get me started on two worlds

Too many other good games to be worrying about the filler this month. Can't believe they released a FPS in between Halo3 and CoD4. It's almost like they wanted their game to fail. Too bad they can't actually "shift time" and release the game 2-3 months ago when we were all bored as hell.

I traded my Halo 2.5 at gamestop and got a $43.50 credit towards COD4. I do not regret it...AT ALL. Had planned on, and reserved, COD4 even before that, but decided that H2.5 was NOT going to get any more play time from me, so I traded it. The campaign, thus far is AWESOME (high replay value), and the balanced, matchmaking, with player drop ins (if you have quitters in your party, perks to createFIVE pre-set classes based on your likes and strong points. You can change your class before you respawn, so if your getting massacred by snipers or or a helicopter, or if your opponents are runnin' and gunnin' you can pick your class that has a perk of an RPG, or martydom (drop alive grenade when killed) and change your gameplan in the middle of a match.MP with all of this, 16 maps out of the box and TONS of gametypes, to me, is INCREDIBLE. My vote for GOTY!
Yeah...about TimeShift....maybe in a few years I'll buy it, when it's $9.99 at GameStop.DeltaFighter
lol, i played it when i DL a demo from XBL. it was ok. i love the concept but like so many other people said horrible timing if they would have had it out when it was sapse to be out "its original date" then maybe but there are way too many other excellent shooters. H3, HL, Gow, Call of Duty4, K&L. not to mention other better non shooter games being released ME, AC lol they couldn't have picked a more horrible time

I like how you say Halo 2.5 a couple of time so we don't miss your joke or so you can get flamed.
