If it's scratched too bad you probably have to get a new disc. xFifty1ne
sorry to hear that :(
go to any game store most of them got the equipment to fix cds/dvds
[QUOTE="ferrarifreak13"]someone is probably gonna make fun of me for this but try using toothpaste. it always works for meG-MizzleSo you suggest putting toothpaste on the disc and cleaning it?
I always get the $3 warrenty at EB Games, if the disc gets scratched I can take it back for a new one. happened with gears of war...ag1002
No offense, but that's rather a useless purchase. the odds of the system scratching a game are probably 1 in 20 games if you're careful enough, and maybe never if you take good care of your discs. Going by my formula, for the price you'd end up spending just to fix one broken disc, you could have afforded to just buy another game.
I turned on my 360 last night and accidentally knocked it over while my Guitar Hero 2 was in the disc drive. It made a huge ring around the disc and now it does not work. I had heard of this happening before and I heard that Microsoft had a new thing now where you can send in your game as long as it is published by Microsoft. Because Guitar Hero 2 is not, does anyone know what I can do? Thanks a lot.G-Mizzle
Leave your 360 flat. Moving it while a disk is spinning will always scratch the disc.
So there's no way of sending it to the publisher and getting a new one for a smaller price? I'm probably just going to have to but a new disc altogether? G-Mizzle
Mos publishers will replace it for a fee. I think Activision published that game so they will replace it for $20.00
my friend tipped over my gears of war when i brought it over to his house
but hes cool so he said hed buy me a new one,but anyway the toothpaste thing normally works
