Ive tried using the torque/longshot/grenades technique, I think this is the best way to beat him but I just keep dying I gave up for now I want to beat him by tonight though.

do it with someones else. have one person use the torque bow and the other the longshot. active reload everyshot. if he gets close enough, frag tag him and run.
Lol, I had the same issue. Welll, it's pretty damn near impossible unless you do Co-op. You'll still get the achievement if you do it co-op.
I'm not sure if you know this or not, because I didn't, but there's online co-op, and you can just continue your campaign with a friend and kick his @$$. It's still pretty hard, but at least not impossible.
Playing co-op helps alot have one guy use the torque to scatter the kryl and then switch to lancer and spray at his head, then the other player shoots him in the head with the longshot make sure you get active reloads!
What I did was torque bow him, then run to the chain gun, gun him down, repeat. Then when he gets closer to you run back around, lure him back to the front of the train car and do it all over again. Frag tag helps as well.Â

Play co-op and have you and your friend get full torque bow ammo, and then get as much sniper and grenade ammo as you can. That is the easiest way that I found.
its best to play it co-op and each of you have a torque bow with full ammo and make each shot count. Aim for the head or middle body and he should go down in no time before he even gets close to you.
I just want to tell you all that I have just completed the game on Insane. I thank everyone for their tips but I just dint have the patience to do this on co-op, plus i felt itd be more gratifying had I completed it by myself. Big props though to FBI Snipers link, its the only reason why I won this game, absolutely ridiculously simple technique AND it only really took a couple of tries, if anyone needs help with insane/general raam. That is the only video you need. AGAIN, BIG ASS PROPS to you FBI Sniper, DAMN!
on co-op both use the torque bow, hide behind cover and fire the bows at raam one after the other (while one fires, the other person should be charging there shot) and if u run out of bows just use grenades
