I was wondering if anyone knew a way to better find my friends game that he is hosting on ranked execution in Gears?Almost all of the time I can't find his game or vice-versa.Are there any tips to find it better?Our stats are about the same and,we play a lot of the same maps.For example,if I host an 8 round game on Mansion,he can never find it during his search.He has tried just searching for 8 rounds,and 7-9.Is there any better way to try and find it on our searches or what?
Maybe I should do an extensive search to find this ,I guess no-one has any idea about this.Maybe an email to the Gears of War website mods or something.
Host a game with say, 10 rounds on gridlock. Now private chat your buddy and tell him the map and number of rounds and tell him to search it. You should also tell him/her how many people are in the match. Well thats how i did it.

Ok I've tried all of that,but getting into detail,we are usually in private chat while,I am setting up host.Meanwhile ,of course,I do tell him rounds ,map,and usual stuff etc.What I'm saying is ,are you saying I should set the host game up,THEN go to a private chat or would this matter I wonder?
Basically ,sure we could just play regular unranked games together,but why would we want to do that when we could be teaming up ,owning,and trying to finish up acheivements in ranked.I think it's ridiculous.I mean we've tried 30 minutes at times searching and such in different ways,ridiculous.
ok this is how me and my freind do it. I go into private chat with him then remove him from my friends list. Then I make a game and tell him to look for it. Like tell him the settings of the game, map, players, rounds, etc. That should work

I do not understand why there is not an invite to game for ranked.Since it is overall not really what team wins ,but,your kills points ,etc. that matter,although I do enjoy my team winning.I understand there could be cheating ,for acheivements etc.,but you can eventually party up with them anyway ,so what's the difference?Even if you were trying to cheat for points or whatever there are still other players in there trying to kill you.At least have it to where you can make 1 private slot for a buddy would be nice since you can't play 1 on 1 anyway.Like in PDZ,you can do this.But PDZ even has bots were it's easy to cheat.So I don't know why GOW would not allow at least 1 invite or private slot in ranked.Sort of like partying up in H2,where they have to be on your team,so you couldn't be cheating,so it should be allowed.
