I have been on the fence about getting a 360....I know it is good, but is it really that much better then a PS3?

I am looking for comments about the system...Graphics, Online play, Controller, and difficulty of the games compared to PS3 or PS2. I have heard some good things....Not sure what's up with the 3 red lights, and over-heating though. If you have answers from experience, I would love to hear them.

Okay, I currently own both a PS3 and an Xbox 360 though I've had the 360 much longer (got the PS3 maybe two weeks ago). The 360 has a much larger library of games, partially due to the fact that its been out a year longer. Its got a great online system in Xbox Live but thing is, you need to pay to get the Gold membership but its worth it if theres enough online games you are interested in. Theres also Xbox Live Arcade to consider, arguably the best collection of retro and new downloadable games for any console.

I'd definitely get a 360, theres enough exclusives to make it worthwhile.

You can't play Halo 3 on the PS3. Get a 360.

Thanks a lot! I am sure I will get a 360. I'm only a little nervous about it, cause of the 3 red lights. I have a few friends which that has happened to. One guy I know has one that overheated. I wasn't sure how often that happens and it can be fixed. I did know about having to pay to play online. Plus like you said, you can do so much for it.That's fine... 50 buck a year is cheap if you look at the month to month price. Hell it's much less then cable. :)

You have been a lot of help. I am glad that you have both systems and could tell it like it is. Thanks.

Well its really up to you...having a 360 makes you play tons of nice games right away...PS3 titles are delayed at the moment, so its really a matter if you want to wait now or enjoy each game like the rest of us are :) As far as the rrod is concerned, well thats 1 consequence you have to keep in mind, but shouldn't stop you from getting a 360 remember, warranties are always there.

Just like you i was heaps nervous when i wanted to get a 360 all this talk on HD and i only had a SDTV, But i got one and the graphics on SD are amazing still. Think about it, Red lights you get a 3 year warrarenty, but if you dont get it there's heaps of games to play, heaps of fun thing's to do. Ive downloaded heaps of video's, getting the 20GB (which ends up 13.6 or so when you check) keeps you for heaps long, im upto 11.7 GB and ive downloaded heaps and had my 360 for about 5 months now. Its worth it.

I've had a xbox 360 for only 3 weeks now and I haven't shut up about it to my friends. Its a kick ass console that just gets better and better, and i haven't even got on to xbox live yet (i know, i know, but my internet providers to blame).

And as someones stated before the controller is the most comfortable and east to use of any that i've tried (the wireless is a must have)

Ok Rant over!!!
