to buy or not to buy Halo Reach?

so the only halo game ive played is Halo 3, and that was 3 years ago and I never really got into it. However, Reach does look pretty enticing based on some of its gameplay videos;so far from the gameplay videos, i see a lot of close combats (which is a plus for me). but yet im still skeptical if whether the gameplay has changed at all from halo 3. i mean, are the gameplay mechanics pretty much the same or is it different? because otherwise ill just try to get it via goozex rather than on launch day.

its the same core mechanics but with a lot of improvements (except they removed duel-wielding). Also, theres a fair amount of med-long range combat too

If you play on XBL I think it's a must have. Everyone is going to be playing it and the online multiplayer is going to be amazing... in my opinion. But it's a personal choice. Maybe rent it first? See what you think? That's my only advice.

actually the title is a bit misleading. it should be "to buy or not to buy halo reach ON LAUNCH DAY"

but ive decided to not buy it but instead get it via goozex, used.

itll take sometime but im in no rush, i have plenty in my backlog :D

Well if there is one.. I don't know.

Id recommend it, even the multiplayer by itself. Theres nothing out there that can touch it in terms of content and lastability... imo!
