Yeah I think the TC should be more specific in what he wants in the games.
Kinect is a better concept than the Wii IMO, the games out at the minute though are shallow and arcade like. If you enjoy having a laugh with your friends at a party and playing the Wii you'll enjoy kinect. If you want it to play on your own then its not so good and can easily get boring.
KiNect is bad. The wii has more and more interesting titles....LustForSoulWell seeing as how the Wii has been out for 4 + years and Kinect has been out for 3 months I would hope that the Wii has more titles. If you compare games at the same time frames that are Wii/Kinect specific as in motion control games, Kinect BLOWS Wii's initial offerings out of the water. Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Joy Ride, Kinect Adventures and Your Fitness Evolved are all well and above what the Wii had to offer out the gate of these types of games. Lets hold off on judging Kinect until after we see what MS has instore for the rest of the year and early 2012 from E3!
It all depends and how you are going to use the kinnect or not. Parties are great for the kinnect but, not many games out yet. The wii had it's stage just like the kinnect with not many games but, look at it now.
I have Dance Central, Kinect Sports, Your Shape, and Kinectimals... (I think that is all I have...)
Out of those I would say that Kinectimals is the only title that would keep a "hardcore" type of gamer coming pack to play it frequently to unlock things and progress further into the island. (I exclude any fitness titles like Your Shape).
Everything else is really fun with a group of people or family, however I do like to do single-player boxing and ping-pong from Kinect Sports every now and then, along with some Dance Central.
I owned a Wii and I hardly ever used it. I would always get frustrated with EA Active and having it not register stretch movements (which becomes a real nuisance when trying to hold a position in stretching).
I got mine at the New Year, and I've enjoyed it. But there aren't too many good games on it so far. I know Dance Centeral and Kinect sports are great though.
What he said. Wii crap? It's so crappy it managed to outsell the 360 and PS3 combined. Stick to your controller bro.If you think the Wii is crap, don't even bother looking at the Kinect.

It's really good, only downside is that it requires a lot of free space
Lots of free space - Kinect
Not much free space - no Kinect
I find it to be quite disappointing, but to each their own.
The technology is way too basic, it's cumbersome (especially if you have a surround system will all the machines and more), and requires too much space.
You basically use your arms and legs to play games, if you want, try it out for free at Best Buy. That's it, you replace your fingers and hands with your whole body, then you jump, run in place, and swing your arms to play games. Try it out for free, then look up the games available for it....it's not for me.
I have the feeling it will be nice and cheap by this Xmas 2011.
It feels like a big beta test for Kinect too! for Xbox 720, which may be a lot better, but in the meantime, it's not cutting it for me.
