lol, Halo 3 will have enough copies at retailers who don't take preorders to satisfy the demand, no doubt about it. Wal-Mart, Circuit City, Best Buy, K-Mart, Target etc. Take your pick and walk in the day it is released, it will be there waiting for you.
As weird as it is, I dont think im going to buy Halo 3 at launch. I played the BETA got up to i think a level 12 or something, loved it. But now with it coming out in a few weeks i have no interest at all in buying it. To much is going on i guess, i have the money, have the time. But i dont have the interest or the want to play it. I think im just going to wait till it goes on sale or pick it up used at some point or something. Like i really wanted Bioshock too but i just dont have the interest in gaming for some reason. So weird, i was hyping this game like crazy and its going to be amazing.
totally agree, now that i am in college i have lost interest in gaming at some extent, now i play one game at a time for like 2 weeks and dont need my gaming fix as much as before. what sucks though is that i have halo 3 preordered but my 360 just died (ring of doom) and now i have to wait till it is fixed. guess ill have to buy the game anyways sincei preordered the limited ed., not legendary, and i wont be able to get it if i miss the release
They will probably take your pre-order, tell you that you'll get it on launch day, only to let you know that when you get to the store at midnight that they ran out of copies and yours will arrive in a few days. Thats how they roll.

No one really cares that you are not getting it. You will be one of the few who will not be part of the fun in two weeks. Again, it doesn't really matter that you are not getting it, millions of peole are. I am getting it and all my friends are.
