What happened on the phone call? I got a woman that was ok, after she made me verify my account, she kept putting me on hold saying she is contacting her superviser and about 30 she told me to check my Microsoft points. I'm just curious to know about what happened with other people for this and any other issue regarding Customer Service.
It should be like any other DLC content that was once paid and is now free... like the multiplayer packs on Rainbow Six Vegas... people who bought the things when they were released got a check in the mail a few months later from Ubisoft for the amount of microsoft points paid... so 800 points per pack... so $20...
So either Microsoft will refund them or the game developer will refund them...
How long is it free for, because I had to send my Xbox to Microsoft (RROD). And by the time I get it back I don't think it will be free anymore. I wonder how they will handle that.

From Yesterday to sometime next week... and they will handel it by making it cost money again after the week is over... so if you don't get it now then you don't get it free...
i emailed microsoft about this last week, since my 360 is being repaired i won't be able to download it. the reply i got said that they were sorry for the inconvenience but that there was nothing they could do about it. needless to say, i'm a little mad about that. i went through all of live's problems just like everybody else, and i think it's unfair to be left out, especially when i had no control over it happening.
