Ubisoft is going in the wrong direction. Take the series back to it's roots, and keep it in modern times. As for your question, I believe it will be better than Modern Warfare 2, but that isn't saying much.

I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed the passed Ghost Recon games. Although the ones on xbox360 were already kind of futuristic... How far into the future are they going here?

Have late GR games been fast paced as MW2 or are they more tactical and stuff?... I would rather like it more tactical than MW2 (which is not saying much haha I know) BUT not having too opened environments as GR used to have... my only problem is that I played one Ghost Recon game in the original Xbox, not Island thunder, I think it was the first one they launched for that console and even thought I found that tactically it was good, the environment didn't help too much IMO and turned me off the series because they were to opened making enemies to be very far one from another and action was not as paced at I would have liked it to be... are GR games lately like this or are they more fast paced / chaotic if you want to put it like that?

Sorry this is semi-off topic, but I love how it is "cool" to hate on MW2. Feels like the Halo 2 days all over again. About the new Ghost Recon. Not much to say since we have seen how much of it? Now I personally liked GRAW quite a bit (moving the squad around was done very well). I do hope it is strategic and tactical (even more so than GRAW) rather than pure action.

Well, let's reserve judgement until we see anything. We don't have video, screenshots, concept art or anything. Just a title. I don't think that "Future Soldier" necessarily means we're going to be fighting with plasma weapons and lasers. I actually have a feeling it will be very much like what we saw in the other GRAW games. Probably just a few years after the events in GRAW 1 and 2. And didn't GRAW 1 take place in 2013? And the GRAW series were probably the best looking games on the 360 at the time of their releases. So one would think that any new Ghost Recon would be pushing that envelope again. GRAW 1 was released in 2006 while GRAW 2 was released in 2007.

I have always liked Ghost Recon games, but it will be hard to compete with Modern Warfare 2...even if the new GR game turns out to be better.

I'm just glad to have some info... Been waiting to long. Want some gameplay footage not the teaser trailer they released. Fall of this year looks good. MoH, Halo: Reach, and now Ghost Recon...
