I'm not a big fan of Legend but the new Tomb Raider looks very promising! The level locations and layouts look huge! But my brother said it's probably going to suck. I still want it but I am having second thoughts. Does anyone have an opinion?
I never got any Tomb Raiders even though I lived though the Tomb Raider PS hype. Though I did like playing 2 (I think); just because you could run around the house.
Anyway, I would wait for reviews. Because even though something looks promising, it can still lack other areas.
Yeah I would buy it. Its funny you post this because I just finished Legend and it gave me a warm "last gen feel". Thats a good thing by the way.hellshemi

Yeah? Not really a game to play twice. But mindless fun the first time through.
I think I will end up getting it, but not something I plan to rush out and get on day one. The recently released trailer, showing the destruction of what was presumably Croft Manor, looked amazing and very cinematic. If the game plays as well as that looked it could be fantastic.
I'am excited for it! I love the Tomb Raider games for the 360, not as good as the original but still fun. I was shocked to see Croft Manor destroyed by Laura. It leaves many questions unanswered to me. Why would she do that? Any ideas?
I'm torn about it. I'll probably play it, but I'm not sure about buying it. A rental most likely. Unless most of the reviews rave about it, then it'll be a one time thing.
I think I will most definitley be buying it! Only because I have all the others :P
The latest Tomb Raider games seemed to have lost my attention half way through, hell I didn't even complete the last one. But the new features look amazing and as always the graphics look top. I just hope the gameplay has gotten better.
I probably will get it, I mean I still play TR1 for Gods sake on my XP computer. Thanks TombraiderCronicles for the XP installer patch. Only disapointment I have in the new ones is not being able to save whenever you want, checkpoints suck big time. If you don't want to quicksave ,don't but at least give us who want to the option. Anyway the graphics look great. The particles of ash were everywhere. Really sweet reverse video. wonder if that is REALLY part of the game or just something to show off their game engine and drive us crazy wondering what the Hay is going on! We are roughly 3 months away and have seen crap other than a few stills and the one video. If someone has another gameplay video I missed let me know. Like to see it.

You think they'll ever release a commercial for it? It's 3 months away and I haven't seen SQUAT!
I would definetly buy it if i ran across it for cheap like in a pawn shop or ebay. I would never buy it brand new though when there are much better games out there.
Legend kicked ass and redeemed the series, Anniversary was a worthy remake of the best entry in the series. ANd UNderworld actually seems to be fully modernizing the game so yeah if you like Tomb Raider Underworld is gonna be great. I love how they are tieing it back into Tomb Raider 1 and giving the series some sense of an overall plot which the originals lacked.
it looks pretty good but there are just so many better games coming out this year that i doubt ill have time to play it. Ill probably pick it up when i finish all the other games im going to get or ill get it when it drops in price.
