I really want to buy a tony hawk game for 360 but I dont know which one to get. I heard that progressing through Proving Ground is difficult due to the controls but I don't know. Any opinions guys?

Actually i don't really know. But Skate 1 or 2 is a really fun game :)
I've heard Project 8 is a fairly difficult game. American Wasteland is great, but I don't have much liking for it since it was essentially a port from the previous-gen version of the game. I haven't played Proving Ground, but I did not like the demo for the game. So it's a toughie, really... I would say you should go for American Wasteland, I guess.
I'm not saying skate 1 or 2 are bad i want them too but this forum isn't about recommending skate is it last i checked this is which tony hawk game is better.
Proving Ground is a really good game and its not that hard. Its siilar to American Wasteland because the whole free roaming gameplay VS. Project 8 which is like the Pro skater franchise which is goal based. Me personally I go with Proving Ground.
