[QUOTE="FuriousBroccoli"] Gamefly'd it and am 3/4 through it...it's really good so far, and I'm planning on buying it now. TH isn't like any other game I've played and I'm excited about going through it again co-op.
GS review = epic fail. That GS editor critic just lost his credibility imo. He must not know much about games if he thinks there are more than 1 or 2 better ARPGs on the 360. The story isn't bad at all (just poorly acted) and it is refreshing how it doesn't play down to the audience. But I suppose it would need to play pretty low to appease that reviewer. Is this guy the next GS editor to get the axe?
MuscleCarMan
just because he doesnt agree with you, he doesnt know what hes talking about? Last i checked he was getting payed to write informed reviews on games hes played. Hes not doing it looking through rose colored glasses too. Never played a game like this before? Um diablo, dungeon siege, space siege, fallout? Come on.
I thought the game was garbage and obviously the game community didnt stray too far from that either.
lol, how many of the games you listed are out on 360? None. I don't remember any of those games being controlled with dual sticks either, or having a cinematic, original sci-fi setting and story integrated into gameplay. Right I'm pushing my norse cyborg god through a dungeon with THOR by my side, holding the talking head of an oracle, whom I suspect is brainwashed by Loki. I've learned how to prioritize my targets so I don't die a lot (unlike the poster above, and apparently the critic). I could care less about loot and I like the game. 5.5 are you kidding?!
Since you seem to be about as articulate as the critic by calling it 'garbage,' I can see why you bought his hyperbolized review without playing it (judging by your gamer tag). Calling a few reviewers and some whiny web kiddies 'the game community' is pretty naive too, no offense :)
