Gamefly'd it and am 3/4 through it...it's really good so far, and I'm planning on buying it now. TH isn't like any other game I've played and I'm excited about going through it again co-op.

GS review = epic fail. That GS editor critic just lost his credibility imo. He must not know much about games if he thinks there are more than 1 or 2 better ARPGs on the 360. The story isn't bad at all (just poorly acted) and it is refreshing how it doesn't play down to the audience. But I suppose it would need to play pretty low to appease that reviewer. Is this guy the next GS editor to get the axe?

Yes, makes one wonder if the people writing the poor reviews even played the game!

the game is full of flaws... tehcnically it isnt a good game at all. but the gameplay, the story, and the overall concept of cybernetic norse gods is amazing. i just finished it lastnight and abosolutely loved it. for the hardcore gamer they probably wont be able to get past the obvious flaws but for me it was great. cant wait for the sequel!

Nope, its coop onxboxlive, so you need two 360's each with xboxlive.

Its alot of fun though coop online with a friend.

Too Human is one of hte most underrated games this gen.

I just think that it came out at the wrong time. Right now games that just came out far exceed Too Human. i was pumped about this game until i seen what else was coming out and my empty wallet.

Honestly... I have a love-hate relationship with the game. Remember certain .Hack levels that lasted FOREVER? These dungeons last longer. The "monsters" all look the same in every dungeon (the first three are pretty exact, where the monsters in the forth are the same the way through). Customization is meh. The entire battle system needs a massive face-lift - the aim system is terrible in junction to jumping (which this game depends on to survive too much), and by "aim," I speak of aiming both with weaponry and sword tactics. You die, but death has no regard in this game. That damned Valkayrie comes down, swoops you up, and you're back in the same room with everyone at the exact same HP. Pointless death - sure, it drains your weapons (which makes no sense...), but when I kill the next boss in the next room, I'll have another weapon at my disposal. Story was great... if it had one - half the time I wasn't sure why I was crawling around in this huge dungeon for hours. There was a definite inter-laten story, a great one, but there is no focus on it. Meh! Story would be phenominal if it was more prominent. Otherwise, it's a fantastic dungeon-crawler, kill-fest. Absolute fun. Unfortunately, the problems far out-weigh the good things for me. I like the game. It needs a lot of work, though. :) Just PLEASE don't take away my horny Lady of the Weird. She's mine. :D

I more or less enjoyed my Too Human experience but ever time I go to write about it I end up typing a huge list of complaints. Almost everything that could be wrong with the game is wrong with it. There is very little to like about Too Human, and I'm not even sure what lured me through the entire thing twice because even the loot system is busted.

It's a bad game that I enjoyed, and I have no idea why I enjoyed it.

just because he doesnt agree with you, he doesnt know what hes talking about? Last i checked he was getting payed to write informed reviews on games hes played. Hes not doing it looking through rose colored glasses too. Never played a game like this before? Um diablo, dungeon siege, space siege, fallout? Come on.

I thought the game was garbage and obviously the game community didnt stray too far from that either.

I didn't like it. Got bored. Did not like that the guns were nearly impossible to aim, and you had monsters that would blow up/freeze everything when you killed them - so you can't shoot them from a distance but if you ran up and hit them with your sword/hammer/spear you would take damage. i could go on and on but I won't. IMO it sucked.

i 100% agree with all your pros and cons on the game, but for the the "dungeon crawling kill fest" far outweighed the obvious flaws the game has. overall it was a great experience for me. another part of the game that was great for me was the customization, finding new weapons/armor and trying them on for the first time to see how pimp they were was pretty fun

I agree, all the items and armor/weapons are great fun to hunt down with a friend on coop. I think anyone who enjoys DIABLO type of games will really enjoy Too human, like myself and you.

I love loot collectors, but that's all this game has to offer - loot. The gameplay is terribly mediocre and slow, the graphics, dungeons, enemies and length are made of failure. It's Norse mythology with robots, how they messed it up is a mystery.

lol, how many of the games you listed are out on 360? None. I don't remember any of those games being controlled with dual sticks either, or having a cinematic, original sci-fi setting and story integrated into gameplay. Right I'm pushing my norse cyborg god through a dungeon with THOR by my side, holding the talking head of an oracle, whom I suspect is brainwashed by Loki. I've learned how to prioritize my targets so I don't die a lot (unlike the poster above, and apparently the critic). I could care less about loot and I like the game. 5.5 are you kidding?!

Since you seem to be about as articulate as the critic by calling it 'garbage,' I can see why you bought his hyperbolized review without playing it (judging by your gamer tag). Calling a few reviewers and some whiny web kiddies 'the game community' is pretty naive too, no offense :)

Let me make a suggestion to anyone who thinks this game is broken/boring/slow to try out the beserker class. Get yourself as much + damage and + speed as you can, and then work on total armor, and take the left side of the skill tree. If you really wanna go fast go human allignment which makes you the only class with 5 combo meters or if you want more damage go cyber. Let me tell you this game really shines when you are dashing around 1 hitting almost any mob at lightning fast speed. Then you add in other affects like gravition pulse on the Zerker's epic weapon and it feels like a super polished unique blend of solo world of warcraft and god of war. This is one of those games that you get what you put into. And if the addiction to it I have is any indication many people that truly "get" this game will have upwards of 400 hours of fun.

It was really hyped but in a negative way. If you read the TH topics it was like for every one person that liked it five people hated it. I loved the demo and i'll love the retail version even more from the sounds of it. Can't wait to get it on Wednesday.

Too Human had insane potential.A few design decisions made this game seem what it is.But Too Human is a solid 8.6/10 for me.

Only Cons : Cutscenes, cheesy dialogue,Cyberspace (awesome concept but fail)....

PROS: Innovative Camera system not bad at all,Dual analog action fun but could of used more combos, story(norse myths awesome),epic loot and customisation, online co-op

CANT WAIT FOR THE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT....DYACK SAID GAME IS BUILT AROUND IT....OMG

This is why I never read reviews, only previews. Never let anyone's opinion judge whether you buy a game or not.

I enjoyed Too Human as well, and one thing I found was the more I played the better I got, I hated the gun targeting until the 2nd half of the last level when I realized that it's just like the melee, press your stick towards the enemy you want to shoot and presto, now it wasn't 100% accurate, but neither was GTA4. The more you play the more the game opens up to you. And ever sense Too Human had that bad showing at E3, people have loved to hate the game.
