Yea, and IGN gave it a 7.5
I feel like this game deserved to sit around an 8...so anywhere from 7.5-8.5 is right.
an opinion is right? what?bulletsword
A review is supposed to be a fair interpretation of..."Should we spend 60$ on this game" And I think Gamespot really failed on this one. They just Nitpicked it to death because they expected better from SK. That's what I got from GS review.
And remember, Gamespot gave Assassins Creed a 9.0
absolutely agree with makchady. 6.5 is on the nose. 5.5 is a bit much, but with a ridiculous plot, aged graphics, a busted camera system, and rancid analog combat controls (i don't care if you say you "just have to get used to it," point is that it's not as good as a more conventional system), ensure that there's no real way that this game should get an 80%.
It's a really bad game i don't know why people are defending it. Heck when Haze got a whole whack of bad reviews i didn't see cows defend it.torontomapleafsYeah but the problem with Haze was it was unanimous. EVERYONE knew Haze was a bad game (GS, IGN, G4, etc.) But in Too Human's case, there are actually some decent reviews. It got a 7.8 from IGN and a 4/5 from G4. The TC has a valid question, and having not played the game, I would like to get an answer as well.

i would think that everyone typing things like this would realize i mean something along the lines of in your opinion who is right....O_O
this thread is priceless  which review is right? oh man, I'm dying here.
right b/c varying opinions cannot compute in the modern world, how silly of me. also does it freaking matter? oh wow we've found out which one is 'right' hooray! now those who enjoy the game will enjoy it and those who don't still won't.
There's no right or wrong, it's a matter of opinion.karriston

I voted Gamespot...but they both are right. I think the game would have been recieved a lot better if it was a game that came before Mass Effect. It just isn't good enough to be released this late in the 360 lifespan. My own opinon. Master_Shake123
JESUS GUYS!!!
I know noone is right, hence the poll, the poll stating IN YOUR OPIONION who is right? Hence why it is a poll not a definitave statement.
Wow, how funny. I just wrote a blog that had to do with reviews and stuff. It involved Too Human. Check it out pl0x. :)
Anyway, based on what I played from the demo, G4. Since it was only the demo, I won't vote.
Alright... if you watched the episode of Xplay before they reviewed it, you would know the reviewer was a HUGE Too Human fanboy who was already set on giving it a great score. That review as terrible... I'm sorry.
Still, an opinion is an opinion, so you can't say who is right. Who's score do -I- think is more accurate? Gamespot's.
(yes, I watch X-play. Sorry to offend you guys)
The game was made to where you want to play it more than once! I have beatin it and am on my 2nd time through! With G4 on this one!!
Like mentioned there no right and wrong review as it opinions, but I'd agree with G4's opinion on the the game. This game seemed to get a lot of stick it didn't deserve really. Yeah the combat system is a bit rubish, but once your used to it I dont see what the problem is. Certainly worth the money I paid (£35) in my opinion.
Once you get used to the controls Too Human Is alot of fun...i think G4 is rightquader_ac400agreed. its a great game.

Here on message boards maybe. But a prominent gaming websites reviews directly affect sales of a game. While it is still opinion, hes in a position where he should be accountable for giving a fair and just analysis of the game.
Many people are calling him out on being overly harsh with this game, and I tend to agree.
I think the game deserves at the very least a 7, and I would personally rate it around 8.5 because of my love for this genre.
I think what happened with Too Human were too many expectations. Not to mention, it's a love or hate game, and not really for the mainstream gearheads. Most people who critique it so harshly really were just expecting a lot more from what could have been a great game.Elann2008
Agreed!! I liked it but it was not 10 years in the making!! What happened was it was an idea then sat on a shelf for 9 years and was picked up and finished in a year!! Graphics were ok, A lot of glitches... But what sold me on it was the upgrades on armour and weapons and the double stick fight style. They definitly need to improve the next one!!

Well said. To all these people posting "It's just an opinion; no one's right," you are not answering the thread creator's question, nor are you actually commenting on the game, nor are you being insightful. You're just nitpicking, much as I am right now.
Thread creator: In an attempt to provide some content in my post (without having actually played the game), I suggest that you broaden your sources for reviews of this game. I usually go (more or less) on what GameSpot writes, but if there's ever a game on which I can't decide, I check out an array of reivew outlets. Look up GameRankings or Metacritic, and check out some of the reviews there.
