Too Many FPS games

There are a lot of FPS for 360. However the majority of them like Metal of Honor are complete garbage...

Nothing else can even touch this game. NOTHING!!!!!

Team Fortress 2 beta > COD4 beta

if you're tired of FPS games then stop playing them. No one is forcing you to buy them.

I am looking forward to Orange Box and CoD4. Those will be the last FPS games I will purchse until Gears 2 comes out :P

Looking forward to Bully, Civilization, and Assassins Creed for my non-FPS fix.

well they sell and plus all of those games are good ones.

oh and dont forget there are plenty of non shooter games coming out that are supposed to be some of the best games of the year

I don't mine all the FPS'S but I do wish there were more 3rd person shooters...

Halo 3 looks so bad ass in 3rd person :shock:

I say not enough.

Developers aren't just churning out half-assed shooters for cheap profit anymore. They're actually spending a great deal of time, money, and effort to deliver the highest quality of gaming, and it's only getting better...not to mention the competition between developers and the intense on-line compettion between gamers that can only be experienced in FPSs.

Bioshock, COD, Half-Life, Halo, Haze, Unreal, even Turok...all set to rock the crap out of this generation, and most already are.

Good times to be had with guns.

Neither is Army of Two. Oh, and for the record the best Simpsons game was the Simpsons arcade game!

well, i guess i got some of my facts wrong on the FPS i listed (some are third person, which i much prefer) and apparently i was wrong about team fortress 2 being 3rd person - my bad. and for all of you who so cleverly said "u picked the wrong console" or "don't buy them", i already recognized that the 360 is the shooter console and i don't hate FPS's (golden eye is one of my all time favorite games), i just wished they would spread them out a little bit (obviously i can just buy them later, but there won't be as many people online later in the year, especially if they are all spread out between all the different shooters). i mean its kind of a problem u want to have

p.s. - i should have clarified about the simpsons game... best console game (but i still think hit and run was the best including the arcade game, tho i know i'm in the minority there - they recreated springfield and let u do whatever u wanted in the entire city, how is that not awesome beyond belief)
