Too much Modern Warfare 2!

Come on guys. Its only been a teaser trailer and some have already named it GOTY. Just wait and quit being such hardcore fanboys. I will be picking it up but its no GOTY yet. Who knows what if it turns out be the most dissapointing game of the year.JUST WAIT:!::!::!:

I agree. We saw nothing signifigant in the TEASER. Atleast wait until some actual gameplay footage and details. And stop making "What do you want in Modern Warfare 2" threads. They are annoying. Just stop it you stupid Infinty Ward fanboys.

What we saw for Halo Wars was hype. What we saw for Fallout 3 was hype. All of this over a teaser trailer is obsession.

It looked good, but the teaser doesn't show anything to the game. It only hypes it up and lets you know the game is coming out soon.

Yeah really,I didn't even like the first game. Highly inflated review. 8.5 tops.

I agree. People can say it is a GOTY contender already because CoD4 is incredible and CoD2 was awesome! I am sorry but I highly doubt this game is going to fall under biggest disappointment of the year. That's just crazy talk.

I just hope people know it's just a sequel and it wont be changing drastically. I can't wait to see "Modern warfare 2 more like COD4.5 overhyped!" threads. I'm going to enjoy the game a lot but i know what to expect.

Can you really get anoyed at people who are just very excited for MW2 (I loved Call of Duty 4 so I'm excited)? I mean, Infinity Ward is making the game (and they haven't screwed up yet IMO).

I'm happy for Modern Warfare 2, and am sure it won't be the most dissapointing game of the year. Still, I'm worried. This whole "dropping the CoD prefix". Will Infinity Ward move on and leave Treyarch to make the Call of Duty games?

infinityward has always made great call of duty games all in the high 8s and even two games cod and cod4 in 9.0 so it seems that they continue to improve and thats wat the hype is. not only because of that but the fact cod4 was named game of the year and also considered the best fps to date thats saying alot. when i campare world at war to modern warfare i dont mean to sound full of myself but cod4 look like a work of art in a game stands but thats just me. i will be REALLY disappointed if its not goty im saying it right now even if it is to early:shock:. i know wats on the line and they know it too it has to meet cod4 level or one above

More lulz please. It goes to show the ignorance of people who 1) Give a game the title "game of the year" based on a TEASER or 2) Complain that that a TEASER trailer didnt show enough about the game such as gameplay details.

I honestly do not mind if people say that Modern Warfare II will be GOTY, because they're making a reasonable assumption. Call of Duty 4 won game of the year, and Infinity Ward has been consistent in making great games.
