top 5 reason i love halo: reach

5: campaign. the campaign was awesome. characters were great. covenant were frightening and smart. missions vary to jet packing around a city to space battles. just pure fun

4: customization. there are so many ways to customize your spartan its ridiculous. so many colors and armor styles to pick from. i spend way to much time changing around my spartan.

3: custom games. people are always making new custom games and its just so fun to see what cool things people come up with.

2: matchmaking. so many gametypes. so many cool assassinations and other ways to humiliate your enemies. its so fun to go into invasion and swamp the other team first round.

1: forge. this mixed with custom games is a recipe for some of the funnest experiences in online gaming. and with forge, there is never a shortage of cool maps to play your friends on. while games like COD only have the maps that IW gives you and makes you pay for, you can go to bungie. net and get as many cool maps as you want for free! all made by players of the game. and forge in reach is 10 times better than on halo 3.

I agree sweet game! They need to unlock the level system already though. I'm a freakin colonel already. Tons of armor I can't even get to and it's driving me crazy!

i think it was one of the worst halo games to date for the simple fact it did nothing new, it was way to easy, no skulls, the BS vote system in matchmaking (if i only wanna play swat i should be able to only pick swat every time.) it is in no way good enough for Bungie to go out on, and i guarantee whatever franchise Bungie comes up with next will suffer because of all the people they disapointed with Reach.

i have at least 10 friends that where total Halo fanboys but played Reach for less than a week and havent touched it since, it was a huge disapointment for the people who arent blinded by the Bungie or Halo names.

want this so baad, shall get it.

if only it was more like halo2... it seems like they changed too much about the gameplay

Lacks any competitiveness. If you go in with a team of 4 it's too easy to win. I just miss Halo 3's and even 2's when you actually had to be good to rank up.
