Games that are coming out this year that have potential are Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Resident Evil 6, Borderlands 2, Darksiders 2, Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Dishonored, and more.

Assassin's Creed 3 is a must. Especially if you've played through 1, 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations:P Awesome series

There is also WWE '13, WWE WrestleFest (XBLA), Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider (this is a big title that nobody has mentioned actually), Rock Band Blitz (XBLA), Brothers In Arms: Furious 4... that's all I can think of adding to the list at the minute.

Dishonored is another game that looks like it could be very good. Keep an eye out for it.

Hey fellow gamers, I seem to have fallen behind on the hot new games coming out this year. could someone give me a list of the hot or cool new games coming out by christmas time 2012? I know of max payne 3 which just came out (contemplating getting it), assassins creed 3, elder scrolls mmo (2013), GTA5, black ops 2 (IMO looks bad), spec ops the line, and the new hitman. What are the other awesome games I should be looking for?bigcity23
