Tough Question : UMK3 or SFII : HF?

I've been trying to decide between UMK3 and SF2. Both me and my friend are looking for fun online fighting games, but in the end we're left to decide between these two games. The reviews out there are very contradicting. Some consider Street Fighter to be an abomination, and others decide Mortal Kombat 3 is overly difficult (so the MP remains intact though). While at the same time, OTHER sites think Streetfighter 2 is amazing, and so is Mortal Kombat.

What's the better online fighting game? By the way, we both live close near eachother, so lag probably isn't an issue.

SF2HF wins when you want to bush out some interesting combos that aint to gory but very long and veryfun, but mortal combat is a bit less hardcore and wont allow such mega combos but has cool finishing moves and stuff with loads of gore.

My opinion is SF2HF I just prefr th gameplay, download the trials and see what you think.

i have both and i love both but i would say to go with street fighter! altho at times its not as easy to find a match as mortal kombat, but if you have a match for you and your friend to play it'll never be a problem. Yea and the hd remix is just gonna be an update for the already made game. So if you already have the game you get hd remix for free!

I would have to agree with Rambo i believe the mortal kombat is better. the online is alot smoother plus you get plenty of finishing moves and lots of characters to master loads of fun
