Trade in value for the 360?

I have a 360 premium with 2 wireless controllers. Any idea what gamespot is giving in trade in? I know its a rip off but the price of this thing not really worth selling it and shipping it either.

maybe a 100 bucks the most nothing more ....sell it on ebay if anything

I was just looking on ebay and my system is going for like $100 these days lol. IF i can get $80 from gamestop and call it a day why go through the hastle? I figure its only worth $100 used anyways. I just dont know if its worth keeping for that though.. thats the thing. but i honestly dont see myself using it anymore. $100 towards a ps3 is $100.

this is a really old premium with a 20 gig harddrive though. i doubt im going to get crap for it unless i get one of my friends to buy it for $100. Weird thing is this thing has been a rock. had it a year after the 360 came out. havent gotten the red ring once. id hate to get a 360 down the road and have red ring issues witha different console. i have the lucky console.

Dude, you might as well keep it!!!...Because you will eventually miss it, I have both and I can honestly say it feels good to have the best of both worlds. When I'm bored with the PS3 I'll play on the 360 for a few days and vice-versa. For what you'll get for it bro...it's not worth it, just keep the 360 and save up a few more bucks for the PS3 so you can have the best of both worlds.

Here's the deal I'm a gamestop employee and I'll tell you straight up we are a ripoff use craigslist for local and ebay if you don't mind shipping it. I don't even trade stuff in at my own store even with my employee trade in bonus. For instance I just sold an Elite on craigslist for $480 cash with 2 games last night. You'll get 80 for the system 15 for each controller and 20 for the harddrive. Take away 20% of the total and that's your cash value. They don't treat or pay their employees well enough to be loyal if you're wondering.

Have you tried calling your local gamestop and asking them? I'm sure they'll give you the correct information.
