So I thought I would trade in Crackdown early to get the most money back before everyone else does after Halo 3 beta is over. Called Gamestop and they offered only 10 bucks for it. Then I called Gamecrazy and they offered 33 bucks. Heck of a deal and took it. Bought used for 45 bucks at Gamecrazy and sold back for 33 bucks. So Halo 3 beta only cost me 12 bucks to play. So thought I would give everybody a heads up if you decide to trade in Crackdown.
I hear some one at real time studios crying...i bet that stores like eb or gamestop will give even less money once the beta is over...umm can we say $5???...
Gamecrazy are connected to Hollywood video places. They are not as big as Gamestop but they offer more for your games and used game are alot cheaper too. Example (Gears ofWar and Rainbow six are 44.99 bucks compared to Gamestop 54.99price
Crackdown is a solid game on it''s own and is worth a buy. The people who just bought it to play the beta really annoyed me because most of them didn't even givethe gamea chance..
Just because your Gamecrazy is giving that much credit for the game doesn't mean all of them are. I called mine just to check & they are giving $18 credit for the game.
This was a head up. I traded in on Friday before the Halo beta was over which made Crackdown in high demand.Gamecrazy had a flyer out last week showing on the ad that crackdown was worth 33 bucks. Anyone trying to trade it in now may be a little tolate because the storesare gathering alot of these games now which is no longer in high demand. Iplayed the game for about a month and didn't really like but since I got 33 bucks back with so i can used is towards Halo 3. I they would only 10 bucks I would kept it then. By the way it is store credit Gamestop and Gamecrazy do it this way because of state laws now.

I never trade in games...ever. You (the consumer) always end up on the short end of the stick.
