I was wondering if a UK transfer kit will work on a US/Canada system?

It should be exactly the same. Just as a wireless controller or a play n charge kit. They're more or less a standard.

I'm not sure. The tranfser disk may have different code to communicate with the hardware?????

I believe that the migration kits became available for Europe later than the US. You may want to go to www.xbox.com and e-mail customer support.

Oh, I'm sorry!! He's probably right.

I forgot all about that disc. Yea if the disc is formated for NTSC and you have a PAL xbox, then that's a big problem.

I would call Xbox Support. I don't know the # for the UK, or else I would give it to ya. :P

Hard Disk Drives formats are FAT32, NTFS, EXT3 (linux), among others, and whatever the 360 uses, and they are not exclusive to certain countries. PAL and NTSC are video standards. USA uses NTSC, Europe PAL. There's no reason why you couldn't use the same transfer kit in different countries.
