Does any 1 know how to transfer a gamertag to a new email address mines kinda f**ked up(cant used messenger)and i wanted to know how to transfer it to another email address. also will it take away my gamerpoints, safe for da help ppl

I've made a new email but dont really wont to do it, can any1 tell me if it takes ur gamerpoints or anything else safe ppl.

I haven't done this personally, but I highly, highly doubt anything will happen to your gamerpoints.

yeh nah its just because my other email was yahoo and i got windows live id with it but it wont let me use messenger on da xbox coz it says i got a child account( dont know why im 18 ) so ive had to make a new windows live id and email so just wasn't sure if it will effect my gamerpoint or more to da point my gamertag,safe ppl

I've changed the e-mail for my gamertag, doesn't take away your points, only changes the e-mail. Duh.

Take a look at this article as well, in case something doesn't work as you'd like. This is the one I read that says you can't change the Live ID associated with your gamertag. Since you had Yahoo before and not a Live ID I don't think this applies to you yet, but be absolutely sure the Live ID you change it to is the one you want because once you change it you're stuck with it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937075/en-us

yeh sorry ppl it seems theres some glitch, i used yahoo to make my id and for some reason it gave me a child account, and know i cant do nothin about it, but still it only stops me using msn messenger so i suppose its not all bad i will just use my pc to go on messenger.bless

But yeah, so far, I don't think it's possible to change the email if it is a LIVE ID thing but apparently they're meant to be sorting that in the next big update.

they wont let you change it ive tried for the same reason before.
