does anybody know if i can transfer my memory from 1 xbox 360 to another xbox360.

any info would be great,cause i am getting a new one today and i was wondering if i could transfer the memory to the new one.

Yes, you can do so through ordering a transfer cable from Xbox.com (which I believe you can only get if you're upgrading from an Arcade system/to an Elite system; not sure), or by yourself manually using a flash memory unit (which you'd have to buy if you don't already have one; they come in sizes of 64 and 512). These are the only two ways to transfer your memory from your old Xbox to your new one.

you have to order a free cable from microsoft, just type in 360 data transfer cable on google. it basically ask you to fill in a form, with your old 360 serial and your new one. To get your gamertag there's an option for recovering gamertag but i can't remember where it is just look around the dashboard.

you might be able to find 1 on ebay. i dont know how much people are charging, but if you're not getting an elite i dont think microsoft will send you the cable.
