Transfering my data?

I just recently bought a transfer cable and it came with a fake transfer disk and I was wondering how you could transfer my data without the transfer disk?

Xbox customer support said there was an update where you did not need a disk?

Thanks to the latest system update youcan now use a USB device to transfer content.

I recently bought a new xbox 360 and following was able to use a 4GB flash drive to transfer all my old game saves and a lot of DLC from the old hard drive to the new hard drive.

All you need to do is:

(1) format the flash drivefor use with the xbox (its reallyeasy, google it)

(2) connect your old hard drive and copy all game saves, DLC and profiles to the USB

(3) connect new hard drive and transfer all data
